Condo Banana is a 1 br/1 ba private condo located in the heart of north Tybee Island. A popular beach getaway with all the comforts of home: WiFi, flat screen smart TV, cable, full kitchen w/ most essentials, laundry room, free off-street parking and private entrance. 1/2 block from the beach. Less than a block from stores & restaurants. 3 blocks from Tybee’s famous lighthouse. Basic essentials, beach supplies and charcoal grill are provided. Dog friendly!

Amenities:
We provide dish ware, cookware, utensils, blender, drip coffee maker, coffee filters, detergent, soaps, paper products, bath towels, linens, shampoo/body wash and some beach supplies.

Beach Supplies:
Beach chairs (quad folding), one beach wagon and one cooler on wheels.

Guest Access:
The entire condo, laundry room and front yard is for guests. The street side half of a large grass area, located to the right of the condo, is also available for parking.

Interaction with guests:
We use door codes instead of keys, so guests can conveniently skip check-in and enter upon arrival. The owners are available for guest needs but will not be present.

Neighborhood:
The condo is conveniently located 1/2 block from the beach, restaurants, and shops. The beach access point is located to the right of the house, 1/2 block down 2nd Ave.

Getting Around:
Everything on Tybee is within 2-3 miles so there is no public transport. Tybee does offer golf cart rentals, bike rentals, Uber and cabs.

I want guests to make an informed choice when booking, so I try to list every detail that I can. Please don't hesitate if you have any questions.

-This is a one bedroom condo, not a large condo. It’s not a space for several people. The photos provide a good idea of this size.
-Condo Banana is separate (not shared). It has its own (private) outside entrance, porch & parking.
-It's part of a larger house with 2 other condos.
2 condos on the first floor & 1 condo on the top floor. This is the front half unit on 1st floor, so it shares a wall with the back half unit. The 2nd floor condo is not directly above this one, but their parking & entry stairs are next to one wall of this condo.
-The laundry room is shared by all three condos + housekeeper and is located at the back of the house.
-A/C for this condo is controlled by 2 window units. We provide several heating options for the winter months: space heaters; a ceramic heater; a radiator; plus the LR window unit has a built-in heater, which works very well. 1-2 of the heating options are more than enough for the space.
-Condo Banana has its own small fenced in area w/ table & chairs located at the front of the property.
-The temps on the shower dial are reversed.
-The condo has its own parking area that can fit several cars. There are plenty of metered spots nearby for parking prior to check-in or after checkout.
-Charcoal grill, some beach supplies and basic essentials are provided. The beach supplies include: beach wagon, cooler & chairs.
-Guests will need to provide charcoal, beach towels, beach umbrellas and any food/drink related items.
-This home is equipped with a Minut sensor. A device designed for STVR that alerts hosts of possible house parties. Minut does not record sound or video--only dB averages, temp & humidity. For more details, visit VRBO or Minut website. Thanks!
