This bright and cheerful getaway for two is located one block from the beach, minutes from launching your kayak at Alley 3, and easy walking to
restaurants and shopping. Located in the renovated maid's quarters of the Cole Cottage, this cozy retreat is perfect for a romantic getaway for two, a kayaking weekend, a snowbird escape, or just a laid back retreat from everyday life.

You can grab the complimentary beach chairs and relax on the beach; sit and visit in either of two outdoor sitting areas, play ping-pong or Foosball in the game area, or kickback and read your favorite book. If you choose not to cook or grill local seafood, then you only have to walk a short distance to enjoy one of Tybee's wonderful restaurants. If sight seeing is a desire Historic Savannah is an easy 30 minute drive.

So leave your cares at the Bull River Bridge; come to the Cole Cottage Too on Tybee Island; and create memories you will long remember....

Good stay near the beach

The cottage was perfect for my friend and I! Close to the beach, and other places. Food in the area was great. Gus was very easy to communicate with and the kitty on the property was so sweet!

Heaven at Tybee!

The description was spot on! The location is perfect- short walk to beach, grocery, breakfast. Gus was the perfect host with great information and he provided beach gear we did not bring. We’ll stay with him again!

Peaceful Stay on Tybee @ Cole Cottage

We loved staying at Cole Cottage! Gus was a friendly and helpful host. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. We loved its close proximity to the Beach and the grocery store! Thanks for a great get away! We will certainly be back and will recommend this property to friends and family!

Great Spot

Great Stay.

Our first night we took a short bike ride to the Back River Beach along the bike trail and watched the sunset. We were close to the beach and grocery right around the corner. Gus was very helpful with questions we had and answered quickly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Terrific Time in Tybee!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cole Cottage Too… Gus was a great host from start to finish… Mother Nature was not the kindest but we enjoyed exploring the restaurants and shops of Tybee. My husband made some cool Island Art and I enjoyed taking time out to read… also happy the Catholic Church was within walking distance as we were there at the beginning of Lent … some much appreciated R&R and no snow… thank you Gus

Tybee stay

Perfect location, right next to the market, and just a short walk to the beach. Close to downtown full of shops, bars and restaurants. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Being able to use the beach chairs and wagon to walk to the beach made all the difference! My husband and I loved staying here. Gus was so lovely and helpful. Lemon the cat was adorable!! Would stay here again!

Best Location for a Sunrise

This was the perfect location for getting to the beach, which is what I wanted! Gus' property was a 5 minute walk on the East side of the island - the sunrises were spectacular!! Back at the place it was quiet and the smell of jasmine with the warm breeze while sitting on the patio and reading a book was heavenly. Just the solitude I wanted. Gus was wonderful to talk with as well. A very nice experience overall!

Right across the road from the beach! Easy walk. Clean apartment, incl floors! (which I'm a stickler about). Gus was so hospitable and personally checked me in and gave me a quick tour, and was very responsive. Highly recommend this property and host!!

This was the cutest cottage! I chose Tybee Island to surprise my husband with for our 1st anniversary. This is my first booking and stay with VRBO and I am beyond impressed with how easy the process was. Now about this cottage! The towels were supremely thick and soft, perfect! The kitchen had all the essentials needed. The hot water was superb! It was so quiet! I cannot speak on how peaceful and quiet our stay was! We don’t know the cute kitty’s name but we became quick friends! He was a precious little touch! I will absolutely stay again!! Thank you so much for helping us make this a wonderful first anniversary!
