We throughly enjoyed our short stay at the house. Everything was as advertised and very clean. The house is definately a few years old but the host has done a great job of keeping things up on the inside. We would definately consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful, very clean, and had a cozy cabin feel. The location was especially nice, tucked away in the woods.Our kids absolutely loved it, and my parents enjoyed it just as much. We were about a mile’s walk from the Festhalle for Oktoberfest, but the walk down the hill was beautiful, and we spotted a few groundhogs along the way.At one point, our three-year-old declared it “the best day ever,” which I think says just about everything. The host was great and genuinely interested in hearing our feedback. We’d happily stay here again.

Overall clean and tidy. Beautiful area to visit. Convenient by car to all the city attractions. Difficult to walk with the elevation. The outside areas could have been better kept up. Nice older house with a lot of character. Great start for our first Vrbo stay.

The place was really nice however, because of a flood there was an odor that we couldn't get rid of. The outside definitely needs some attention because of all the spider webs. Over all, there is plenty of room

The host was fantastic and left us treats upon arrival. The rental was spacious. The top space had 3 bedrooms.The ground level had 2 living room, kitchen, and the bathroom with a full tub.The bottom level had the master suite with bathroom and game room.There is plenty to do on the property. The towels were warm when we arrived. That was amazing for us.

House had a musky smell. And dust was terrible under beds. ( I have family members allergic). 3rd floor was extremely hot while the 1st floor was like ice. Walk to town was not easy since the walk back was all up hill.

We had a lovely time at Honey Bear Hideaway, the location is excellent for tourists. We enjoyed the home immensely was nice, big, and best of all we were able to travel with our Huskies. This was just what we needed for a relaxing vacation.

Brigette was awesome! We got snowed in but she was available to answer our questions and worked with us on our departure. House was wonderful for us as we were coming from 2 different locations to spend time with family we dont often get to see. Thank you so much for the house and the hospitality.

This was our second time to stay here, and it was just as great this year as last year. I love that there is so much room to spread out. Everything was so clean and inviting. We were even able to walk into town...although coming back up the hill can be a little challenging.

Cozy cabin with lots of character

This cabin was great for our short stay in Helen. We were traveling with small kids so I wouldn’t say it was quite in walking distance to the downtown area, but definitely a super short drive. The beds are all really really comfortable!!
