Wouldn’t stay here again
I booked this unit bc I read it was highly rated for cleanliness and I like the Aspens location bc it’s 10 min from JHMR.
The unit was really dated, smelly and dank. I wore socks to keep my feet clean, but that’s me. The positives were that the family room had nice light and windows, there were plenty of towels and ziplocks etc, the unit was quiet, heating worked well and parking and access were easy. Negatives were mildew smell, broken smelly garbage disposal, hairs (not mine) in the bathroom and paper-like sheets. There was also very poor communication with mgmt, for example, when fire alarm went off first night, there was no local support to help walk me through the issue or come to the unit.
I would not stay in this unit again. However I would stay at the Aspens again bc of convenience (also proximity to market — albeit very expensive one!) if you plan on taking shuttle to JHMR, it does not run every 20 min as published. I waited an hour and heard that is not unusual bc the shuttle doesn’t do Aspen pick ups and drop offs like they used to
