Great stay in La Jolla.

Incredible views! We woke up every AM and walked over to the beach. Cooked lunch at the BBQ, enjoyed the pool and hot tub.All was great. Would highly recommend…and will be coming back.

Best place to stay in La Jolla! Book now!

We had an amazing experience this time in La Jolla. The property was gorgeous and the view is phenomenal:) even more beautiful than the pictures. Don’t hesitate- truly a wonderful place to stay!

Great house with a great location

Had a great weekend sitting on the patio furniture overlooking the surf. 4 of us and 2 dogs, plenty of yard space for them to roam. Would rent again!

Amazing property

Bird Rock is a beautiful property, and we loved our stay. The house is clean and comfortable, and the yard and view are simply breathtaking. We wish we could have moved in!

Paradise

This property is second to none; pictures do not do this place justice. Perfect seaside retreat with tons of privacy and easy access to beach and downtown shops. Property manager is very thoughtful and attentive. Would definitely stay here again.

This home is heaven

From the moment we arrived, the experience staying at this home was so relaxing. The sound of the ocean waves adds to this relaxing place. We enjoyed the property, the views, the pool. The home had everything we needed. The Master bed was sooo comfortable. The large glass windows made it feel as if you were inside outside. We paid for the pool & hot tub to be heated and it was perfect! The service was great. The Property Manager went above and beyond and communicated with us the only time we needed her. This home is at the top of our annual getaway now!

Absolute heaven

We loved our stay in this gorgeous house! You cannot beat the view of the beach, the water, and the surfers below. The house is in a great, quiet neighborhood, but there are also terrific restaurants nearby, and everything was very walkable. The pool was gorgeous, and it was so nice that it had some shade for most of the day. The big umbrellas were also fantastic, and we got to make s'mores at the fire pit. The kitchen was really well stocked with all of the pans, utensils, and knives I needed to cook, and there were a good number of spices already in the cabinets. The check in process was a cinch. I did have some trouble reaching the owner during our stay about some minor maintenance issues, but that was the only small glitch in an otherwise fantastic trip. We are already planning our trip to return in 2025!

May stay

The location and layout of this property are outstanding. Guests can safely walk everywhere from the beach to food shopping to nightlife. The views, sunsets and surfers are incomparable. The only downside is the cleanliness. There was garbage under the beds and under the bathroom vanities and the sheets and blankets needed to be washed and the propane tanks were all empty for the fire-pit. Fortunately, there is a washer and dryer on-site and a propane place nearby. Also, an instructional manual would have been helpful. ie- garbage pick-up, landscape schedule, etc. Despite these few inconveniences, we would definitely stay here again.

Stunning property

Pictures don’t do the views justice, this is a wow factor property. Nice upscale neighborhood. Beautifully decorated, well appointed kitchen (even has olive oil, basic spices, and Tupperware & ziploc bags for lefotovers), and lots of extra towels, blankets, toilet paper, paper towels. Does not have direct beach access, but is a short walk. Note the walk is hilly. There is also a small parking lot right on the beach that you can see looking down from the property. Easy 20-25 minute drive to most popular San Diego attractions. Washer/dryer in detached garage. Only suggestion I would make to host is to provide check-in/check-out instructions w/ entry codes, Wi-Fi info, trash pick up info, check-out needs, etc. We never received anything and had to contact the host for entry codes. There was nothing on paper once in the house either. All in all a pleasure though, and would gladly stay again!

The pictures do not do this home justice and you realize this the second you open the front door! The property is amazing. The pool is much nicer and bigger than the pictures suggest. The pool is huge and it gets to 12 feet deep. We paid to heat the pool and it was money well spent. The sunsets every evening were amazing with the sounds of the waves providing the best back drop. The only thing we had issues with was the grill and the gas fire pit . Hopefully they get that corrected soon. But this stay is perfect for the outdoor serenity it provides. Highly recommend!

Great location Had difficulty with regulating the pool and hot tub due to the timer . took a few day

To fix it. Small issues, door didn’t lock, Ice machine didn’t work. Manager was responsive Great location and once the pool timer was fixed we enjoyed the house more. Would recommend having a book on restaurant recommendations and places to go.
