Great room with double-height ceiling, wood-burning FP and fully-tuned piano. Garden room off kitchen with radiant-heated floor. Six minutes to ski hill, snowshoeing and cross country trails abound, ice skating on our own pond and plenty of horseback riding options. Ten minutes from shops and dining in historic Litchfield.

Long-time residents of New York City, we purchased this amazing property as a weekend getaway in 2008. Our two daughters happily spent their weekends and summers here, learning to ride horses, hiking and skiing in winter. We used to drive by this property for years and jumped at the chance to own it when it came on the market. We did substantial upgrades of the kitchen and baths and now it's our perfect slice of heaven! Everything we like to do is nearby: riding, golfing, hiking, great restaurants and even shopping! We spend our winters in FL, and we are making our dream house available to you to enjoy. Long walks in the snowy woods, snowshoeing across the frozen ponds and lakes, riding horses are all easily accessible nearby and a warm cozy fire awaits in our great room. Gather around the fire and sing along with your piano playing family as we do and then head for the kitchen and family room for appetizers as dinner is prepared in our dream kitchen that we painstakingly renovated last year. Our lovely dining room comfortably seats 12 and we have plenty of beds and baths for everyone.
