We love it here! Roomy yet cozy; decorated perfectly for the Christmas season. Comfortable beds, lots of counter space to prepare large meals and great hallways for little ones to race their matchbox cars. Lovely surroundings outside as well!
We have loved staying at this home! So roomy and the beds are large and comfortable. Our grandchildren love the yard and swing set and there is a great stretch of hallway for running. Unfortunately, this house isn't available for our dates next December so we must go elsewhere. Great memories made here!
Lisa was awesome, when an unforeseen event prevented us from staying in the home we booked she seamlessly put us into another of her properties that was beautiful. Highly recommend booking with Lisa
We absolutely LOVED staying here for a long weekend. It was the perfect amount of space for 13 girls to sleep comfortably and the five bathrooms were so convenient. The property itself is so charming, unique and cozy. The animals were a bonus, especially the adorable barn cats. I would recommend this place to anyone and hope to be back! Thank you Lisa.
We stayed here for a family reunion we were attending. There were 14 of us and there was still plenty of room for everyone. Five bedrooms each with their own baths , beautiful fire pit area. Even a big pond! Definitely visit the Alpaca farm across the street. Loved it and will definitely stay again when coming with a large group. Perfect place for family and friends.
2 kitchens very well equipped with all sizes of pans. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Very nice surrounding countryside. Saw deer, geese and other wildlife.
Very spacious home. Room for 10 of us to be indoors or outside. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. The alpacas were fun to watch. The 2 cats were so friendly. We all had a grand time. We would highly recommend the Farmhouse to anyone.
Great location for assess to the Finger Lakes area. Fun interacting with farm animals. Nice ammenity that each couple had their own ensuite bedroom with a king size bed. Good farm house vibe that could use some updates. The central gathering in the kitchen provided only 8 dining chairs which could have been more comfortable. The central gathering in the livingroom also needed more seating and updates.
Each bedroom had a bathroom, very nice
Inside was in good condition. Well supplied with necessities
The outside needs work including backyard, grill deck etc
Lisa i found out was not well so it would have been helpful to have another number
Alpacas were awesome for the kids to see
The bedrooms and living room were very nice. Kitchen and dining room seating area too small to accommodate 14 people but we made it work. No hot tub was found as listed. No wash cloths or dish rags available. Location is nice and quiet, nearest bike trails in Canandaigua or Farmington a 15 minute drive.

It is a beautiful place.
We all got there by 4:00. Had to wait outside until 5:30 before we got the code to get in
It was advertised that there was a hot tub. There wasn’t
Advertised that there would be chickens and fresh eggs. There wasn’t
We tried to contact the host several times. 3 of us did. We still have not heard from the host.
The photos of the property make we’re taken YEARS ago - since then it has been the pond is a cattail marsh - no fountain, the property overall is totally overgrown and very tired. There is a difference between rustic and charming and just not kept up. And two of my guests had to leave because they were having allergic reactions to cats that must have been in the house. Do not be fooled.

Beautiful Property, Great for a Group
Two families under one roof, and it worked out great! 4 adults, and six teens. Property is beautiful! Teens stayed upstairs and had the best bathrooms. Adults stayed downstairs, where bathrooms aren’t officially en-suite, and are small. We did it this way so kids could have own area. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, including a tiny ice maker, fridge doesn't make it. Like other reviews, I was super disappointed in the zero communication with the owner. I had to reach out to VRBO on our day of check-in help me to get the info. Then there were some issues with 2 showers not draining, and I figured why reach out, since I never heard from her. Debated less stars, but the friendly cats talked me out of it. Currently, no chickens. So that was a bummer too. Alpacas are cute, but skittish.

Special Birthday Celebration
It was a good stay. My family was comfortable. I think your improvement opportunities are as follows: 1) Erect a railing on the stairs which lead to the pond, very dangerous 2) level out the flat stones off the back porch leading to the firepit, a trip and fall waiting to happen. 3) More communication with the owner and renter is needed. The first day we were there I spotted a huge
bees nest on the side of a basement window near a porch. I told all of the family to stay away, I called the owner and left multiple messages. I never received a call back and went to bed that night not knowing what would
happen. The next morning an exterminator arrived and killed most of the bees. He never spoke to me which is too bad as I would have liked to know how many more hours needed to pass before it would be safe to use the property nearby. I honestly feel that I deserved a token refund as my family was not able to avail themselves of use of the total property which I paid a lot of money to use.
Rented the Farmhouse for a long weekend with friends. Had some website hiccups with making a small change to the reservation, but Lisa was super responsive and keeps a great property. The binder was so helpful! The house has a great setup for a big group (there were 12 of us), well stocked, quiet setting but pretty easy to get to "downtown" for takeout or groceries, and we loved visiting with the barnyard menagerie. Would definitely consider a return.
Nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. Plenty of bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. (I did donate some larger coffee cups to the home). The animals and chickens were fun to see. Beautiful home, lots of space. Enjoyed the firepit. That seemed to be where we all gathered together. It was a family reunion.
Overall the property is very beautiful. We loved that we were the only house on this road and patch of land. You can tell the owner has been updating the property and still a bit of work in progress, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying. One room upstairs barely cooled down. We used fans to circulate the air a bit more upstairs so that helped. We loved the fact there was 2 refrigerators. 10 people = lots of food since we cooked a lot of our meals at the house. We did purchase and leave an electric griddle and wide spatula for future renters who may want to make pancakes.
Two very friendly cats greeted us when we arrived. Thor enjoyed a good cuddle outside during our morning coffee. PLEASE follow the owners direction and don’t feed the cats human food. We could tell previous renters must have and the cats were very disappointed when we wouldn’t give them any!!
Check in was very smooth (even with having issues with communication through VRBO). The owner was very polite and answered any questions. I highly recommend this property. Plenty of room to have your own space and plenty of room to all get together.
We loved every second of our stay here! We loved this exquisite house so much. So many beautiful sites to see in short driving distances. The owner Lisa came to give us a little tour of their farm across the street and our kids were totally riveted. She is just wonderful; gave us fabulous recommendations for hikes and restaurants and much more. You will love your stay here!! We will be back!
This property was a perfect location for our finger lakes bachelorette weekend! We had 10 women ages 24-60 and the home was perfect. Plenty of space and bathrooms for everyone to get ready and spread out. The living room, dining room and outdoor areas were great for relaxing and hanging out without feeling cramped. The kitchen was clean and well stocked for all of our cooking needs for the weekend. We really enjoyed seeing the animals and checking out the farm. The property was located on a nice quiet street and provided a relaxing getaway feel. The owners were very friendly and easy to communicate with, we particularly enjoyed the farm fresh eggs! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!
