Knotty Pine- Updated Tahoe Cabin, Private Hot Tub, Wood Fireplace, Pet Friendly

Looking for a vacation rental that feels as tranquil and carefree as your warmest Tahoe memories? Look no further! This charming pet-friendly 3 bedroom cabin has been tastefully updated while still holding true to what we all love about the simpler times of historic Tahoe. Abundant hiking and biking trails right out the back of this quaint and desirable neighborhood proves this home's unique value; offering visitors both the solace of mountain tranquility as well as an opportunity for some serious adventuring... And that's what Tahoe is all about!

Dripping in classic wood touches, the home's entry level features stainless appliances, a large farmhouse table, studio-like lighting, and comfortable seating options. We think you'll find that the reclining leather sofas with built in cup holders are the perfect spot to kick off your hiking boots each evening. While some enjoy the nostalgia of a crackling wood fire or a movie night on the adjacent TV, others can indulge in a soak the hot tub on the home's rear deck.

The Master Suite with attached private bathroom on the west wing of the house is a recent addition that boasts geometrically faceted ceilings, a King bed, and flat screen TV, and it's own private balcony. With a second more modest bedroom below the common space, and yet another in the upstairs east wing of the home, the family can spread out as desired.

In the summertime, the deck is adorned with plentiful seating for your outdoor enjoyment. Surrounded by Pines, you may even be able to sneak a peak at a sliver of Lake Tahoe through the thick evergreen foliage!

Disappointing
The house has great curb appeal and the entire neighborhood looks great. Inside the house is disappointing and there were many issues. The master bedroom is an addition and is very nice except the shower facet handle was stripped and the shower nonfunctional. The main level Livingroom is ok but average. The kitchen is tight and built-in microwave is broken. A tabletop model was provided. This level also included another bathroom with a very tight 2'x2' shower. The loft area was up a very narrow flight of stairs and the ceiling was uncomfortably low. The downstairs bedroom had a musty smell and what appeared to be a sump pump in the middle of the floor. Out back was a well made and sturdy deck with a hot tub. Unfortunately the hot tub cover was waterlogged and too heavy to open making it unusable. The deck included a small but clean and well functioning BBQ. The view from the deck was very nice. In summary I was not comfortable in this house and wont rent it again.

Your service is great, but the house wasn't stocked as well as we would have liked. Minimal toilet paper, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, no hand towels and the kitchen cabinets looked like they hadnt been cleaned out in years (found very old spices and oils). Overall a good experience and we will continue to rent, but this house in particular could have used some TLC. As always, thank you for letting us stay and we look forward to next summer.

Quaint Thanksgiving stay.
This home was well appointed, spacious and comfortable for our family of 5 coming together to celebrate Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well appointed and hot tub a terrific end to the day. Location was great - perfect for dog walks and the odd trail run. All in all a cosy Thanksgiving and a comfortable stay.

Family stay for one week
We generally had a good time and enjoyed the property. However, there were some issues with the cleanliness of the unit when we arrived. Several of the towels were wet, there were wet towels in the dryer, and there was dust/lint on the stairs to the upper room. Additionally, the outdoor umbrella would not fully collapse (it was broken) so we had to move it for the storm to prevent it from accumulating too much snow. I've been to Tahoe dozens of times with large groups, and similarly priced properties would offer a cleaner stay with stellar amenities.
