Large 4* Balneo Zen Altitud Chalet with Sauna 300 meters from the ski slopes

The large 4* Balnéo Zen Altitud chalet is a charming gîte in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Park.

Located at an altitude of 1,375 meters in the Chastreix-Sancy ski resort, it benefits from an exceptional view of the southwest slope of Puy de Sancy.

All its equipment is modern (opening to customers in July 2022) and its level of comfort will seduce you.

From the first rays of sunshine, its 2 large secure panoramic terraces will be the ideal place for your breakfasts, aperitifs, lunches, coffees, tea time or children's snacks. During dinner, the sunset will appear on your terrace. You will enjoy optimal sunshine combined with a breathtaking view of the valley and nature.

As soon as you enter the chalet, you will appreciate the warm atmosphere of the Douglas Fir and the Larch.

The living room of more than 50 m² welcomes you with its large living room. The chalet offers a WiFi connection (fairly low speed given the network coverage).

For your meals, the large oak table will accommodate 10 guests around the raclette oven or the plancha.

Thanks to the complete kitchen equipment, you will delight your guests: 600 liter fridge-freezer, Pyrolysis oven, Induction hob, Dishwasher, Kettle, Nespresso pod coffee machine and paper filter coffee machine …

2 bathrooms are available.

The large bathroom on the ground floor with spa area includes a 160x90 cm shower, a double sink vanity, a large spa bath (120x180) for 2 people lying down or 4 people sitting, as well as a sauna for 3 to 4 people.

The 2nd floor bathroom has a 120x90 shower, as well as a double sink vanity. In each bathroom you will find a towel dryer and a hairdryer.

5 double bedrooms offer you very comfortable bedding with a 160x200 double bed or 2 90x200 single beds. 2 bedrooms are located on the ground floor, the other 3 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor.

For your comfort, each of the 3 levels is equipped with a separate toilet.

A washer and dryer are available and make long stays easier.

Want to hike on foot: at the foot of the chalet a hiking route begins, which will take you to the village of Chastreix or to the surrounding hamlets. Within a radius of a few kilometers, numerous waterfalls and several lakes, including Lake Chambon, offer superb views, while the Chastreix-Sancy national nature reserve will take you back to rich and preserved nature. In winter, discover the pleasure of snowshoeing in unspoiled nature.

Want to ski: you are in the heart of the family resort of Chastreix-Sancy, 300 meters from the ski, toboggan and cross-country ski slopes. The resort welcomes skiers of all levels and ages with its ski school. You prefer Nordic skiing: leave directly from Chastreix-Sancy to explore the entire Sancy massif.

Want to go horseback riding: Sancy-Cheval will open up new horizons for you with an unforgettable day of horseback riding on the mountain trails departing from Chastreix-Sancy.

Want to discover sled dogs: Chastreix-Sancy welcomes a large pack every winter and invites you to discover this activity.

Desire for history: the Château de Murol, the historic city of Besse will delight lovers of authentic places.

Desire for gastronomy: Saint-Nectaire is produced on site by the herds, of which you will hear the sound of the clarines as soon as they leave the stables. Discover local products at the Mont Dore markets on Friday mornings and Besse on Monday mornings.

A security deposit check of 2,000.00 euros is required upon arrival. A check for 300.00 euros "cleaning" deposit is also required for customers who have not subscribed to the paid cleaning option. These checks are returned by post within 2 weeks maximum after the end of the stay.

With the exception of all school holidays, where the length of stays cannot be less than 7 consecutive nights from Saturday to Saturday in general, we accept short stays from a minimum of 2 or 3 nights, to the extent where these fit into the same week going from Saturday to Saturday.

SERVICES INCLUDED and OPTIONAL SERVICES:

For each stay booked at the GRAND CHALET BALNEO ZEN ALTITUD, the following services are included:
- Water and electricity consumption
- VAT of 10% on the price of the stay.

Not included:
- Breakfasts
- End of stay cleaning. If cleaning is not done at the end of the stay, a cleaning fee of €300 will be applied and will be deducted from the “cleaning” deposit.
- Cleaning and storage of dishes used during the stay
- Rental of sheets, pillowcase covers and duvet covers for all beds: option offered at €180.00 including tax for 10 beds
- Rental of sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers, as well as beds made on arrival for all beds: option offered at €250.00 including tax for 10 beds
- Rental of bath and hand towels: option offered for 10 Bath Towels, 10 Hand Towels and 2 bath mats at €80.00 including tax
- Rental of table linen: option offered including napkins and fabric tablecloth for €40.00 including tax
- The end-of-stay cleaning fee, which amounts to €250 including tax
