This property is a beautiful place to stay! It is large enough for my family to stay in and enjoy the Pagosa Springs area. We took advantage of the jacuzzi and pool table when we were not out and about enjoying the area. The balcony views were the best. We will definitely look for this property next time we visit Pagosa Springs. Thank you.
We booked for one night to enjoy the hot springs and loved the house so much we wished we would have stayed longer! Check out was a breeze, and the host was kind enough to let us check in early so it gave us more time at the springs! Great place!!
This home greatly accommodated my family vacation to Pagosa. Plenty of space and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. There were plenty of extra towels and bedding for everyone. Also, the hot tub was a nice feature for everyone to relax at the end of the day.
This property was awesome! The house was so clean and very spacious. Owner was very kind and accessible. Loved the location!!! It was perfect for what we needed. Would definitely stay again!
This property is great! If I do another trip to Pagosa Springs I would definitely stay here again it was great to have a hot tub and a pool table, especially with a big group!
Very nice , large home accommodated our group of 10 adults and 1 child. House was well stocked with plenty of linens and towels. Kitchen had everything we needed as well. We loved seeing the deer on the property.
The home is located in a great neighborhood that is close to all amenities. The kitchen has all of your cooking needs. The home is large that is perfect for a large family/friends. The back deck and hot tub are perfect for gathering. Would stay here again.
Great home for a lovely winter retreat. The amenities were as advertised and the space was very intriguing, especially with the organization of the upstairs. The light bulbs were somewhat mismatching, but that was a small thing. Overall great place to stay w/ a larger group and access to awesome skiing <1 hour away!
The house is very large and accommodated our family very nicely. Only complaint we had was the water leaks and smell of mildew due to the recent snow. The manager assured me that they were working on the issue and hope to have it resolved soon. Besides that the home was very comfortable and in a beautiful location.
Overall we loved the property and thought it was perfect for all 10 of us. There was enough space so we weren’t on top of each other. Pro: location is right near everything! They had people come to clear the driveway and deck after it snowed, kitchen was fully stocked. Con: the check in process was a bit tricky because I never got the email with the codes, no cell service at the house so had to drive closer to the town and then called the manager, it took a bit of time to get in touch and finally get the code. Partly my fault because I thought the code was in one of the other emails. Parts of the house in a spruce up…railing was loose, holes in the drywall at places/corners, couches are worn out. Overall, we got in the house and it was a great stay! We would stay there again!

“The Lodge” at Pagosa Springs
I was hesitant about posting my review due to how friendly and nice the host is to his guests. However, I went back to VRBO and checked the listing and as he had stated to us, the price we got was low for what it normally is listed to rent. Therefore, I feel that the prospective guests should be aware of a few things.
#1 there are many things that have been listed that are not quite accurate. #2 it states air conditioning throughout, and it does have vents, but the a/c does not cool the upstairs at all or the home on hot days. It is clear that there have been complaints due to a window unit being added in the living area downstairs. However, it is ineffective due to being placed in the window directly across from the other units control panel. This causes the cold air to be blown directly into the control panel, which causes the control panel to register an inaccurate temperature for the home. If you do not use the window unit, the house temperature was around 90 degrees in the afternoon. If you do use it, then it shuts off the main unit. It is a double edged sword. This issue causes the upstairs bedrooms to be uninhabitable due to the 90+ degree temperature in the afternoons and evenings #3 the deck has been neglected and boards are loose to the point of being unattached and coming up at you, if you step on either end of the board. #4 hot tub runs only one time and shuts off and will not run again for a while. I don’t have enough room for the rest, these are the main ones
A complete bummer to show up after a motorcycle ride to a cold hot tub!
The owner was very responsive and offered money back which was appreciated.
The house is in a great setting, we hiked in the canyon behind the house.
A few beds need to be replaced; One upstairs room and the room above the garage are canoes.
House was clean.
Great property in an excellent location. Close to amenities and plenty of room on the property for multiple families and children. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for the memories.
It was a great stay and comfortable home away from home. Beds were confortable. Plenty of bathrooms and showers for our group. Had everything we needed to prepare our own meals/cook including outdoor grill. Outdoor space was nice with good views of canyon. Overall a great place to stay
The Lodge was well appointed - plenty of dishware and kitchen needs, super comfy beds and comforters, throw blankets (still chilly in March in Colorado!), extra tissues and TP! Of course, the pool table and hot tub were fun! Beautiful low light pollution nights to see the stars while in the hot tub! We were thankful to bring our pup along to this pet friendly property - very close to a trail system for walks. Would stay again!!
