Historic Block Island cottage, close to town. You will enjoy the recent upgrades throughout.. The 3 bedrooms boast new beds, linens. 1.5 baths includes towel sets. Beach Towels not provided. Please bring your own with you. Living room with comfy sofas has Direct TV and internet. Dining and kitchen. are well stocked. The adjoining outdoor deck with dining table with umbrella, gas grill. There is a large yard for lots of outdoor fun.

The island jewel is just that! The house is within walking distance to the ferry, beach, shops and restaurants. We had bikes and borrowed a bike at the house to explore other parts of the island. The house itself was perfect for our stay!

June Block Island trip

Overall, the Island Jewel was a very nice property with an unbeatable location. The outdoor shower was a great plus, especially after a long beach day. A very cozy space which was greatly enjoyed by the whole family and also very clean.

We loved our week at the Island Jewel! The house was clean, well-decorated, and very comfortable. The location is perfect being very close to Old Harbor. Having beach chairs, linens and towels provided was an added bonus. Great communication throughout the stay. I would surely recommend to others and stay here again!

Cute cottage near the heart of downtown

We stayed at Island Jewel last week and had a wonderful time. The house is so well kept and there were numerous amenities that made our stay easy and fun - we loved the bikes in the shed and the grill on the back deck. It was easy to get out to the beaches and also to see a movie or have dinner out in town. Highly recommended for a great stay on Block Island!

Fabulous home

Vey clean and comfortable home. Everything worked perfectly. Furthermore, the landlord allowed us to stay longer at a reduced rate when stormy weather shut down all ferry service from the island.

We have been staying on block for 10 years, with the past three renting a house and have never been disappointed. This was by far the best home we rented. We hope that the new owners will continue to rent it out and if so will definitely be back next year. Thank you for sharing your home.

We liked the house location which was close to town center and walking distance to any restaurants or shops. Also not too far from the main beach. Beds and bed linens were very nice. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Furniture and decor had a nice beach theme. Large dining table, kitchen island with stools and two couches offers plenty of options for hanging out. Outdoor shower was convenient since there’s only one full bath. It’s close to the back deck and fully enclosed.We would vacation at the house again. It was perfect for our family.

The Island Jewel property was everything we had hoped for and even more. The kitchen was high end with everything you could ever need. There was plenty of room for comfort and the cottage was professionally decorated. It was just steps from downtown yet we never heard any noise. Will stay there again and highly recommend it.

We had a great stay at the island jewel and it came as advertised! Suzann was very easy to communicate with and work with. Location wise it was very easy to get to restaurants/downtown as well as launch for other adventures. Would definitely recommend block island and this property!

Island jewel is really a gem

This property was well equipped with everything we needed. Situated right in old harbor gave us the ability to walk or bike to all our activities for the week. The house was clean and relaxing. We had such a wonderful week on Block Island. We would definitely stay here again.

The pictures are great but when you arrive it’s much better. It’s a little tight, like a doll house but adorable and the location is so close to everything. I was alone only because my family could not get out because of weather. But I would stay there again in a heartbeat.❤️

Suzann was a fabulous host! She was very thorough in keeping us informed about how to access things in the house. She was very responsive in answering our questions and she even let us keep our things outside before our ferry so we could explore a little more of this beautiful island! Truly a great experience. This adorable Historic Cottage , previously know as Driftwood, has been recently updated by the new owners. New furnishings, beds, bedding, accessories, etc. Convenient to town but set back off the road for maximum privacy. Large yard for outdoor fun, deck with picnic area, & gas grill.
