The host is very responsive and accommodating. Property is clean and inviting...the pond is within walking distance and makes for a nice view. This is the second time staying here and will definitely be back next year!!
Good for a weekend stay to fish. A little lacking on the lighting, but I think it’s just because we live in a day and age where bright LED lights dominate the household so we weren’t used to it being a little darker in the RV than we anticipated.
There was no hot water or outside lights when we got there so we had to fix them, but overall a nice getaway. The view was great!

When Jody arrived we had had a huge storm that blew out lights. The electricity went out due to same storm. We went over immediately when told about both. We turned on the water heater and replaced lights.
Thanks for taking the time to review.
Tamra & Rick are great people. They do what they say and are very responsive when you need something. It's jyst a great place to stay and very budget friendly.
We had a wonderful weekend stay! Rick and Tamara were extremely thoughtful and welcoming. The camper was clean and had everything necessary for a great weekend on the lake.
Even though it was a work stay Hookem Hideout made it feel like a vacation not a care in the world. I would recommend this getaway to anyone work or pleasure. Great Host!!

Thank you Michael for your kind review.
You were a dream guest!
Hope to see you again.
My grandson and I stayed 4 nights. We were there for Banjo Ben's Bluegrass and Bass Camp and it worked perfectly for us. Having the boat ramp just a stone's throw away was a great perk for us. The long driveway was great for our pontoon boat and two trucks. Very nice and well-kept yard and pleasant environment with a nice view of the lake. Will definitely plan to return!

Quiet and respectful of property.
Welcome back anytime!
The host was attentive to things. But it was a little dark in places. We couldn't the stove to work. It was completely clean (things on stove dirty). And the view was not as good as the picture. Had a closed in feeling. But the main bed was comfortable enough. And it was quiet there which was nice. (except the tornado that came through and rocked the RV, but not anyones fault).

Laura thank you for your review.
The stove is just like a gas grill. You turn on then light with the lighter that is on the counter.
I’m not sure what was dirty but I appreciate your frankness and will make sure my cleaning company knows that .
