Enjoyed our stay and could not have found a better place. Very clean and well stocked with everything you need and more. Really liked having a shower with a bench since i have issues with standing up.
We came to fish a tournament and the backyard and driveway had plenty of space for our boats. House was clean and perfect for us to stay. Thank you for hosting us!

Host was welcoming but house had mice problems. They got into my food and into the bedroom as well. Otherwise nice place.
This home was perfect for our family as we were in Decatur for a wedding. The home was just as the pictures depicted. We had no issues and did not need to communicate with the property owners but nonetheless, they touched base to make sure everything was good. I highly recommend this property.
The house was cute the neighborhood was quiet. We had one little issue but they were prompt in fixing and communicating. We have family in the area so we’d love to stay in this home again. Thank you!
The house was great with an open concept. Toys, stroller, and travel bed were provided. Secure fenced in back yard was nice to let the grandson run without worrying getting hurt. Everyone played pool and had a great time. Nice linens and comfortable beds. Plush towels. Great communication with owners.
I came to Decatur for business and wanted a house where me and a coworker could stay together. This was a nice place, but could use a little work. The floors were not really clean and all of the beds are very creaky/squeaky. We really enjoyed the games that were provided (UNO) and the pool table was a great addition! Overall, I would stay here again if needed, if these issues could be fixed.
Some amenities are no longer available, but otherwise was a nice place. Should also let renters know that extra garbage bags are in the bottom of the cans. Also, watch for acorns falling on the driveway.

It looks better in pictures
The house was easy to get to, in the middle of Decatur. The management company forwards the code for the front and back door the day before your arrival. We didn't arrive until late and had problems with the code, the management team answered the phone and walked us through entry without issue. The house that looks beautiful in the pictures was a bit beat up in real life. The path from the driveway to the front door is a hazard, it's a sand base with paving stones spaced about 2.5' apart, just enough for an adult man to feel choppy walking on them and to far apart for the kids. We all tripped over them and ended up walking through the yard anyways. The front door had just been repaired with wood filler and needed paint, the dart board was gone and the wall was in the midst of being repaired as well, the pool table has a rip in it and all of the cues are missing tips. The TV in both rooms are child locked making them hard to watch and the dens remote has seen it's better days. The living room and kitchen furniture is showing some wear, the couch had a hole in the cushions, and the bottom of one of the kitchen chairs is busted and lost it's spring. Finally bring a pillow, because although there are 14 on the master bed the 2 that weren't decorative were about 2" thick.
This could be a really good property, overall it's spacious on the inside, has a big fenced back yard, large bedrooms, and there were games (pool, darts, and ring toss, ring toss being the only one functioning at 100%) for the kids to play with. There have been updates done but they are middling at best and the property is definitely showing that it has been rented on the short term market.
Nice quiet location. Very spacious and accommodating. The host really thought of all the little details from dish soap to laundry detergent if you forgot it it was there. The fenced backyard was very helpful since we had our dogs with us. The only downfalls we’re the water pressure and the king bed was a bit uncomfortable. We had a great stay overall and would definitely stay again.
With our trip to Mississippi we decided, with 4 kids, to stop for the night. We found the halfway point and found this adorable house in Decatur that was well priced too!! Win win! Stay was great, house and yard was fantastic. Close to restaurants and shops. Easy access to anywhere.
The interior of the house has been remodeled nicely. Kitchen appliances and washer/dryer were good quality. The owners did a great job of making us feel welcomed and it was clear that they put a great deal of thought into this as there were little details and touches that were above and beyond what other VRBO owners do. We'd highly recommend staying here.
We rented this particular home as it was close to sons wedding venue and it was pet friendly. Check in was super easy! The home had every amenity we needed, the owners even brought us a keurig when we inquired. Nice pool table , Netflix, prime, and Hulu available. The only small issue we had was the gate latch didn’t work, we had our pets with us so that was important.
Property was exactly what we needed. Five generations of family traveled for mother's day reunion. Property had everything we needed, the host was very gracious and was quick to respond when we had questions and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Our great grandson loved the toys and the large fenced in yard to play without worrying about the road. Grat stay!
