Great place for us to call home while we visited family for the holidays. Kids loved the huge backyard and the house was comfortable and clean with great appliances and furnishings. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Home Near Everything we needed

We chose this home to be close to family and stores. It was easy to navigate the neighborhoods and we felt safe at all times. The home was spacious and well appointed with amenities. Beds were very comfortable. Especially liked the large fenced yard and the owner was very responsive to questions and requests. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location

This house was the perfect location for us…only blocks away from the church that hosted our event. We were pleased with the cleanliness, and the house was supplied with whatever we needed. One thing that disappointed was there was no coffee pot (Mr. Coffee style) as was pictured in the photo of the kitchen. I realize that “k-cups” are what’s popular, but some of us “old-timers” prefer an old-fashioned coffee pot.

Wonderful House

We were in Decatur to visit relatives. The house was actually in a neighborhood where family used to live. It was close to everything and perfect for having all the family over for pizza before leaving again. We could not have done that in any hotel. It’s beautiful, clean, nice backyard with covered patio. Highly recommend. In fact we’re returning to Decatur this week but it’s not available, so some other lucky family will be enjoying it this time.

Contacting anyone was kind of a hassle, when we orginally got there i was informed that the key pad code was the last four numbers of the account holders phone number and it wasnt actully not even close so once they finally answered through text i got the code and everything was fine, messaged them when we were leaving a day early due to weather and there was no response so theres that

The description describes property as “fenced yard” so one would assume the entire backyard is fenced but this is not the case. The right side from house to neighbor’s fence is completely open. Fence also was in pretty rough shape with several boards missing. Old, falling down shed is also in backyard and should be removed. The kitchen could have had some nicer dinnerware and silverware. Everything was cheap plastic and utensils bent. Some cleaning needs to take place around light switches and walls. Cotton runner in dining room was dirty or stained. Some of the wooden furniture had seen better days and reminded me of a college apartment. The step to enter home is rather high and there is no handrail. It also smelled like cat urine near the front door. Three things that the house excelled at: the coffee station, quiet neighborhood and the excellent quality of toilet paper.
