About this property

Magnificent view, in the heart of nature, very quiet and comfortable

Located in the heart of nature within the Cévennes National Park, this authentic 18th-century farmhouse overlooks the valley and offers a breathtaking 180° panoramic view.

Visitors praise the beauty and tranquility of the setting, as well as the home’s high level of comfort and tasteful decor.

The region is ideal for mid-mountain recreational activities (kayaking, swimming in the nearby lake, hiking, biking, etc.). Day trips to the coast are easily accessible, and there are numerous cultural activities.

At Mas de la Mélarède, you can enjoy plenty of sunshine throughout the day while relaxing on our various terraces facing east, south, and west.
The outdoor area also features a private garden, and the magnificent century-old linden tree provides welcome shade.

The property offers a spacious 185 m² of living area, which was recently renovated with a focus on using high-quality, eco-friendly materials. The farmhouse offers great comfort and is very bright.
It is primarily spread over three levels, with the fourth level reserved solely for the laundry room and a shower room.
Wi-Fi is available in every room. For your comfort, we have installed underfloor heating, powered by solar panels and a heat pump.

The farmhouse has three comfortable, spacious bedrooms (20–25 m²), designed as self-contained spaces with a separate entrance from the garden and an entrance through the main house.
Each room features a king-size bed with high-quality linens, a terrace, a bathroom, and a private toilet. Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor, while the third is on the second floor. The third bedroom is connected by a hallway to the walk-in closet, which features a sofa bed.

The living area on the ground floor includes a beautiful, fully equipped semi-industrial kitchen that opens onto the living room. The entire space, featuring a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the valley, offers direct access to the main terrace. The terrace features an area with a magnificent view of the surrounding hills, as well as a semi-covered section for rainy days or when it’s very hot.

The farmhouse is located a 10-minute drive from La Grande Combe (a town of 5,000 residents), where you’ll find all the amenities you need (2 supermarkets, an organic market, doctors, etc.), including, for those travelling by public transport, the bus and train stations.
