Reuben Young House: Two 1st Floor King Master Suites. Close to Town & Beaches.

Charming circa 1820 antique newly renovated. close to downtown Chatham (1.5 miles). Close to Fish Pier, Ryders Cove, Oyster Pond, coffee shops and Chatham A's ball field. A large outdoor deck sits under a large sycamore tree for outdoor dining and lounging. Multiple outdoor decks and patio spaces. Summer outdoor fire pit and large outdoor shower complete this peaceful getaway. New kitchen, baths and furniture. 1st floor has 2 large en suite king size bedrooms/baths. One with private deck; the other dressing room (suitable for infant if needed). Upstairs (2nd floor) has 1 queen w/sep dressing room and 4th bdrm has 2 built in ship bunks.One bath with shower/tub on 2nd floor. Perfect for 2-3 couples, Or family. Appropriate for up to 6 adults and children (not to exceed 8 total). This is an antique so access to 2nd floor has somewhat narrow stairway (see pic). In Season: This is a Saturday to Saturday rental i(or Sun to Sun) n the summer season (some exceptions). 6 day minimum. Check in is 3pm and check out is 9 am. Limit of 6 adults. Adults and children combination; 8 maximum. We are strict on this thank you. Bed Linens and Towels Provided. No beach towels; sorry. We live nearby and respond with any issues/questions quickly.

Wonderful property, extremely comfortable beds and furniture, well appointed kitchen, comfortable outdoor furniture, nice showers. Everything is just as nice as the pictures show - in fact, the rooms were more spacious than I expected from the descriptions and photos. Lobster pot fits 6 1.75 pounders (not pictured).

Great house for getaway to the Cape

The house was great for 3 couples, or for a family of 4-6. Very close proximity to Chatham. House was clean and very well stocked with all the essentials. Jean, the host was very responsive and even offered up dining recommendations throughout our stay. The back patio was a focal point for our group and allowed us to enjoy the summer nights around the fire pit! Great experience.

My family and I had a wonderful week in Chatham. The house was perfect for 6 adults and one child. The home has been tastefully renovated yet retains the original Cape Cod charm of the 1800’s. Jean was easy to communicate with and had snacks, wine, and fresh flowers from the yard for us when we arrived. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for the week (paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc-everything!) We ventured out most days, but were glad to wind down our day in comfortable beds and cozy home.

Wonderful stay for a wedding weekend

We stayed with three children and four adults at this beautiful home for a September wedding weekend. The host Jeanne was so gracious and organized, and the home is lovely and so well located. I would absolutely recommend this home!

Chatham restored home

We had a lovely time. The house was really nice. The rooms are a bit small, especially upstairs and the living space. We would have enjoyed more comfortable seating in the main room. The house was very clean and we enjoyed being in Chatham.

Charming Well Appointed Property w 5star host!

Rest and Recharge in Chatham

We loved our stay. The flow of the house was nice and the porch made the space feel even larger, plus the kids loved building pillow forts on the large couch out there. The new outdoor shower was also a highlight with the four different showerheads. Short drive to the beaches and could bike to town. Jean was super responsive and even left us a welcome gift. All in all, a lovely stay.

Great Home and a Great Stay

We had a wonderful vacation in Chatham staying at this charming, quaint home. The owner was extremely kind, accommodating, and thoughtful, which made our stay even nicer. The home was nicely decorated and very clean, which is a must for my wife and I. It was in a great location, close to Main Street, and the fire pit was a fun addition that kept us warm outside while we roasted marshmallows. It was a great getaway and we can't wait to come back!

Family vacation

Very nice and clean property. Nice linens and towels and outdoor furniture. By a busy road without a sidewalk, so walking from the property challenging. Close driving distance to town and beaches. Close to rail trail, biking distance.

Lovely Cape rental

We enjoyed our stay and found the location to be very convenient for everything that we wanted to do/see on the Cape. The home is well appointed and the owners are welcoming and attentive. Our favorite memory of this house will be the rabbit family that has adopted the yard to raise their babies. We saw kits multiple times a day. We would definitely stay here again.

Chatham Charm

Historic meets updated interior with the outside maintaining the charm and history of Cape Cod. The kitchen is equip d with basic cookware/supplies. Jean, the owner, was really easy to work with - very responsive and accommodating. Nicely appointed outdoor seating areas.

Fantastic!

We had an amazing time! Not only is the home and property beautiful, the hospitality was absolutely heartwarming. Jean and her husband are great communicators. Everything was explained thoroughly to us. There was a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers there for us- such a lovely touch! There was information on the home and various activities and sites to experience in the area. You must eat a meal on the deck! Wonderful! Can’t say enough about this home and it’s delightful owners!

Lovely cottage close to Chatham Main Street

We stayed at this cottage for 10 days with another family. It’s a cozy cottage that is very well outfitted with all necessities, including kitchen necessities, and with contemporary furniture. The owners were lovely to deal with and very responsive. We had a small hiccup and it was immediately dealt with. The location is also very nice. Quiet and close to downtown and beaches. Additional pluses: Outdoor shower, outdoor seating, A/C, charcoal grill, and some beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and toys).

Chatham Gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Chatham. The historic house is beautifully decorated and outfitted with everything one needs. Two masters on the first level are great with king beds and separate bathes. We enjoyed the shaded outdoor space during the day and evening. The outdoor shower is the best! Great location close to all the activities in Chatham….a short drive to downtown. Jean was a great host and available to help with any questions or needs.

A peaceful getaway gone right

My parents, husband, and two young kids wanted an end of summer family respite, and we found it in Jean’s home! The lovely cottage was well-appointed and in an excellent location, 1.7 miles away from the center of town. A note for the runners out there - it’s all rolling hills locally, so prepare yourselves! The previous reviews weren’t kidding - the beds were incredibly comfortable. Unfortunately, I’m the kind of traveler that is difficult to please with both the cleanliness and the comfort of a bed, so I was genuinely grateful for these. We even ordered the same mattress cover following our stay in hopes of improving our own bed at home! Jean was a wonderful host who responded quickly to any questions or issues we had. Lots of hosts can have great homes - but communication is key, and Jean didn’t disappoint. Thank you!
