Chatham Seaside Cottage - Oceanfront Beach Cottage - Spectacular Views

On over two acres of Oceanfront, 'Bayberry and Seadaisy Cottages at Ridgevale Beach face the temperate waters of Nantucket Sound. It is ideally situated at Ridgevale Beach and the mouth of 'Buck's Creek' a beautiful tidal estuary offering great swimming, boating, and shellfishing, as well as spectacular views. Shorebirds, from tiny Sanderlings to the Great Blue Heron, are frequent visitors. The Sundeck provides a relaxing spot for enjoying it all.

Inside, each window frames a portrait of open ocean, river, or salt marsh. The cottage is heated, and comfortably furnished with fireplaced living room, full kitchen, two bedrooms, and bath. SMART CABLE TV, WIRELESS INTERNET, AIR CONDITIONING and outdoor gas grills and KAYAKS are also provided. In addition, the cottage has a private outdoor shower, a simple and delicious pleasure after a day on the beach.

We are open year round, and between November and March, are treated to fantastic ocean sunsets! For summertime, reservations are necessary well in advance. The cottages are rented out by the week from Saturday to Saturday from June to the end of September. In the quieter off-seasons, we can often accommodate guests on short notice.

This place is perfection - the location, the cottage, the views, the beautiful marsh and birds behind the cottage, the ocean out front, and the cherry on top is the wonderful host, Scott. He is so kind and generous - making sure you have everything you need and are having a good time. Also the cottage is pristine and very comfortable - including the beds. Scott also has kayaks and beach chairs you can use. If I’m lucky enough to find an open week, I’m returning with my husband! Thank you, Scott (and your wonderful mom, too!)

Scott was an amazing host! Great communication from start to finish with quick responses anytime we needed anything. The house was spotless, the location right on the water was beautiful, and his food recommendations were excellent. We especially loved the quiet mornings enjoying coffee in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. We had such a great stay and will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at our Chatham Seaside Cottage! The cottage was spotless, comfortable and the location truly cannot be beat - perfectly positioned in between the beach and peaceful Buck's creek. It had everything we wanted for our week away. Scott was a gracious and welcoming host, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. We're consulting our calendars now - we absolutely can’t wait to come back!Highly recommend!!

This cottage exceeded our expectations, and the location couldn't be more convenient. Scott was an incredibly welcoming host who made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Ann generously shared fresh basil and tomatoes from her garden right on the property.There's great dining and shopping nearby, and we hopped on the Freedom Ferry for a day trip to Nantucket. What really stood out, though, was the Chatham community — we met so many families who've been returning summer after summer, watching their kids grow up here. It's the perfect spot for families, or just to slow down and breathe.I even managed to sneak in some work in the mornings while the kids slept in, and everything we needed for the beach was right at our fingertips. The outdoor shower was a favorite, and there's nothing better than card games and sunset dinners on the front porch. Highly recommend! Thank you Scott & Ann.

The Bayberry Cottage was perfect for our family of 5 Thanksgiving weekend getaway. Scott was unbelievable helpful, communicative, and attentive. You cannot beat this location and the views, even in during the off-season. Our family will never forget the memories at this cozy cottage, which had all the amenities we needed.

This is the Place!

This seaside cottage was perfect for our mother/daughter’s trip! Scott and Ann’s hospitality was over the top. The location and views can’t be beat. We loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs and walking on the beach. You can stop your search now and book this cottage before it’s gone.
