Sanctuary 4bd 3 and a half bath - Luxury Eagles Nest with long views, hot tub, hiking, and more!
Located in Banner Elk at The Lodges at Eagle's Nest, this majestic home is one of our best luxury rentals. From the time that you first view the timber framed portico to the time you walk out onto the back deck with its awesome 180 degree layered view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, you will be inspired by the beauty of this area and this home. Upon entering the great room with its 30 ft tall ceilings, and its superbly crafted woodwork and stone you have the feeling of your own exclusive English hunting lodge.
The two King Suites on the main floor would be hard to choose from as they both walk out onto the covered porch for morning coffee or evening fire. Both spacious master bathrooms have walk-in tiled showers with all the extras. The linens are the best, and one bedroom has its own fireplace as well as a twin bed and trundle bed.
For those who like to cook, you will have a difficult time getting past the kitchen with the granite countertops, hammered copper sinks, confection oven, wine coolers and every convenience. There's a third bedroom downstairs with a King bed, and a bathroom is shared on this level. The kids have their own space with two sets of twin bunk beds and large play area downstairs. Also available for children - join the family and take a walk to the Great Camp, or playground with rope bridges, swings, and climbing walls just a short walk up the road. This beautiful Eagles Nest rental home is the place where luxury and beauty meet in perfect harmony.
Larger groups may enjoy renting this home along with Big Bear Lodge, Bear Creek, and Boulder Creek that are just down the road, or any of our other Eagles Nest properties.
Depending on the home, 4WD, chains or sometimes both may be required when visiting the mountains in winter. Access to this home may not be suitable for vehicles with rear wheel drive, limited ground clearance, or motorcycles even during summer months. We are happy to help you find the home with the access you are most comfortable with, any time of year!

Please note all visitors on premise at the Winery must be 16 years or older with the exception of Sundays. This is strictly enforced.
Guest do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
Additional Notes:
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- Please note that the owners of this home use security cameras to monitor the exterior of their home to ensure it remains safe. No cameras are aimed at the bedrooms, doors, or windows.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
-Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling us with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals as prescribed by a medical professional may be permitted, and the presence of a service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $750 fee to reimburse the owner for wrongful use of their home as well as compensate for removing pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.
If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
