Margarita Sunrise - An Old Florida Cottage in Beautiful Santa Rosa Beach.

Located between Seaside and Destin in beautiful Santa Rosa Beach, Margarita Sunrise is a four bedroom, three bath cottage that is part of a small neighborhood of only 75 cottage style homes called Old Florida Village. A community pool directly across a private drive makes keeping tabs on those loved ones especially convenient and beach access is a short stroll (approximately 500 yards).

This Florida Cottage-style home features clapboard siding and a tin roof and four covered porches. Morning coffee and gentle sea breezes can be enjoyed in comfortable outdoor furniture off the private porches of each of the bedrooms or the living area. The cottage comfortably sleeps ten in one king, a queen in the second bedroom, a queen in the third bedroom, a full sized bed in the fourth bedroom and one queen sofa bed in the living area.
Five Flat Screen TV's provide non-beach entertainment. High speed cable internet access is available.
The location is convenient to fine dining Bud and Alleys in Seaside, Craft bar in Grayton Beach, Stinky's Fish Camp in Dune Allen, and Fish out of Water in Watercolor as well as funky dining with great jazz at The Red Bar in Grayton Beach. We are in walking distance to Gulf Place with great shops, outdoor dining at La Playa, Pizza by the Sea and enjoy Sunday night concerts on the green. Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club is also nearby for an interesting golf challenge as well as gulf view dining. Eighteen miles of bike paths along the beach and coastal dune lakes makes exercise a fun and interesting event. The largest discount designer mall in the country is a 10 minute drive in Sandestin.

The house is adorable and very clean! It was well stocked with everything you could need. It is only a short walk to the beach. The only downside is- the ice maker hardly worked so we had to buy ice, some of the mattresses are old and need need to be replaced and there wasn’t an air filter in the wall spot where there should’ve been one.

Perfect family beach getaway

Walking distance to one of our favorite beaches and two great restaurants. Easy access to a great pool for our baby to enjoy. All the amenities we needed, but be sure to bring your own spices and coffee filters. Comfortable and cosy house with a great porch for enjoying the morning. We loved our stay.

Perfect for the little ones!

We loved our stay at Margarita Sunrise! Our two toddlers loved the pools and the walks to the beach and to get ice cream. Santa Rosa was beautiful and my husband and I enjoyed a walk to local restaurants for date nights after our littles went to bed!

This vacation home was the perfect stay for our family. It was the perfect location to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The home was very spacious and very clean. Best lot in the neighborhood

This property is on an interior corner, and the porches (1st and 2nd level) both wrap so you can face the undeveloped lot next door instead of just facing the street. Great for relaxing when you need a break from the beach.

Great stay. Very nice property. We had a great 4 days. Household items were great. No issues at all. Weather was perfect. We wish the house had beach chairs and cooler, etc instead of depending on local rental outfits for those needs.

Very nice house. We however lost over $100 worth of food that was purchased in Florida because the grill did not work. Too much food to travel 8 hours with. Luckily I was able to purchase a small portable grill for burgers and hot dogs to feed my family the last night. But overall the house was nice.

Fun family vacation

House was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Location of pool was awesome. Grandkids loved it and adults enjoyed the convenience. Walk to beach with all our stuff was a bit challenging in the heat. Surprised that there was not a ramp for wagon and supplies. We had enough adults that we left wagon at house and carried umbrellas, chairs, and beach supplies to beach. We may consider property on beach for next family trip but overall we were extremely happy with location. Lots of fun things to do!

We stayed here with my family of 5 (3 kids ages 15,13, 10) and my 2 oldest brought friends. We were traveling with 2 other families who stayed next door and had children the same age as ours. First, to say that there is "Easy beach access" is misleading. It's a fairly long walk and recommend a bike with a cart to get supplies to the beach. The first night all the parents went up the road to get something to eat and left the teenagers at home. We were back after about 2 hours at around 930pm. The next morning we were called by the property manager and notified that there were noise complaints and "underage drinking". They sent me some sketchy video taken by the elderly couple staying across the street (who also btw yelled at my 10 yo for throwing a football in the road with his friend) of my daughter and her friends on the porch and yelling at their friends next door. I was told this happened after 10pm which was false since we were back by 930. There definitely was NOT any underage drinking. I am also not sure why this old man across the street was taking videos of my 13 yo daughter and her friends! The property manager threatened to kick us out if it happened again without even hearing my side of it. I've stayed at many places along 30A over the years (Rosemary, Grayton, Seacrest) and have never had any issues. I have never been threatened to be evicted from a property. It seems there are alot of crotchety older people who live in this neighborhood and if you stay here with kids you may have similar experiences. I even witnessed one older man up the road yelling at a hispanic lawn crew blowing leaves off the road simply bc they accidentally blew leaves into his lawn area! Vacations ares supposed to be fun and these people are thieves of joy. Will not stay here again.

The house was great and the neighborhood was quaint and quiet. There were 3 adults and two children and the house was a perfect size for all of us to spread out. It was a fairly easy walk to the beach access, but further away than expected. It wasn’t too far to walk back and forth, but we definitely had to drive all of our beach stuff each morning to set up. It was just a little too much for our elderly parents and our children to lug all of our stuff. Otherwise, we were very happy with the stay and the house layout and size.

Family fun

The home is beyond beautiful, great location only a 8-10 min walk from the beach! The neighborhood is beautiful as well pools we’re awesome! We called one time about the grill because it was dirty and we couldn’t use it and someone came within a few hours to clean it, however that grill is beyond saving. If you are coming don’t count on the grill. The plug outside doesn’t work so you have to use an extension cord and than you have to Leah the door a little cracked which lets in the smell… we put foil on the grill due to it being so dirty and still nothing didn’t heat up enough. That was the only negative of the trip everything else was just perfect! I really recommend this place and we will be back!
