A real more than.

The hosts were very helpful, providing more for us in the hite than we anticipated. Throughout the week they were everso helpful in responding to our enquiries. The gite was well equipped and tastefully decorated throughout. A highly recommended stay.

This is a real gem of a holiday property. The property is located in a quiet village, about 10mins drive away from Rue (with supermarkets, bakeries etc). The property is very smart and tastefully decorated, and also had everything we needed in terms of equipment. We really enjoyed the outside covered area with dining table, sofas and bbq, and spent most of our time out there. The hosts were excellent, responding to queries and helping us to explore the area.

What a lovely place

We went to Gaston-en-baie to celebrate my wife's birthday, and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. The property is lovely; old and full of character, with original brickwork and creeky wooden floors. This is exactly what we were looking for, and it didn't disappoint. The bedrooms are all lovely and spacious, but there is a lack of wardrobes in some. So if you have a lot of items that need hanging you may need to share. The garden is lovely, the swimming pool great to cool off during or after a hot day. And the covered bbq area is brilliant: we spent almost every evening sitting out there eating, drinking, and chilling. Although we did use a lot of citronella candles and insect repellent, but it was worth it. For anyone who wants a comfortable, relaxing break in a traditional French house/gite, I would highly recommend this place.

Mooi ingerichte woning. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Kinderen waren niet uit het zwembad te krijgen. Ruime tuin met meer dan voldoende faciliteiten voor de kinderen. Mooie wandelingen in de buurt. Kortom een aanrader.
