We had a great time. Quiet, clean, stocked well and easy access to the beach. Alec and Nathan were great to work with and respond very quickly. Highly recommend Long Island Cafe!
Property is just as pictured! Perfect for mother and daughter spring break getaway. This was our second consecutive spring break at Atlantic Escape and can’t wait to return.
Love this property! Very clean, nicely furnished, lots of space. The location was fabulous! Alex the property manager was absolutely amazing! We will be back!
Overall the condo was cozy during a very cloudy, cold October weekend. It had most of the essentials with the exception of body wash. Loved the proximity to the ocean and the rooftop deck. However on me of the couches is in need of replacing with minimal cushion and just very uncomfortable to sit on. The mattress could also use replacing as well as there were areas that you would sink down into. It was a great spot for what we were needing for 3 days, but definitely would need the couch and mattress replaced if I were going to stay there longer in the future.
The place was very clean and loved all the space. The thing we loved the most was the proximity to the beach. The neighborhood os also very lovely. The only thing that would have meade it perfect is if construction wasn't happening everyday right outside. Ofcourse, this is nobodies fault. Just things that must happen so not upset. We really enjoyed i time.
I stayed at Atlantic Escape for a quick vacation before school starts back. A wonderful and relaxing location! Close to the beach. I was able to sit on my screened porch and watch the waves. The ease of check in was awesome as well. I received my gate pass prior to check in so I didn't even need to stop at the gate. I love the Wild Dunes area and this was by far the best condo I have stayed in! I can't say enough good things about it! I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway! I will definitely keep this one on my list to book again!
My best friend & I stayed here for a 4-day girls’ weekend. We were pleasantly surprised by all of the small conveniences this host provided! The linens were spotless, she got the king bed & I slept on the daybed, which was very comfortable. We were a stone’s throw from the beach, so we had some nice strolls in the mornings & evenings. The fridge was new, they provided an ice maker in the freezer (I drink a lot of ice water all day long, so THIS was FABULOUS!), & they provided both a Keurig & a drip coffee maker (I love a Keurig). The only downside we found was that the cushions on the sleeper sofa (facing the TV in the living room) were pretty shot. I have a bad lumbar, so we had to sit on several pillows to be comfortable. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
Renovated and fresh, very cute decor. Huge beach. Comfy beds. Used the pull out couch and daybed so each of our kids had a sleeping spot. Enjoyed the screened in porch and the root too was a great place to sun when the the beach was chilly. Lots of conch shells on the beach. Enjoyed renting bikes from the Wild Dunes rental. Breakfast at Toast was very yummy. Only recommendation would be to add bath mats in the bathroom and a mat inside the front door. Otherwise everything we needed!
Nice place. Overall quiet, clean and comfortable. Decorated nicely with a beach house vibe. Complex has community pool & BBQ grill. Limited view of ocean, but you can see it from the perch up on the roof and it's a short walk away.
Kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans, dishes, etc., there were two beach chairs and an umbrella that were nice to have. Maybe we're spoiled by other VRBO stays, but we felt there were some basic essentials that were missing - no condiments or spices, no coffee pods for the Keurig, no dishwashing or laundry detergent. Providing some of those items would be a nice touch. But we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Hi Mark! Glad you enjoyed your stay! Apologies, we definitely provide a starter supply of toiletries and cleaning supplies including dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. Housekeeping must have overlooked. We hope you will stay with us again next time and we owe you double on your next stay!
The property was exactly as advertised. The best part of the stay was being so close to the beach and being able to get up early in the morning and walk along the shore. I was pleasantly surprised when my plane landed, I had received a text that the property was already available and I was allowed to check in early . I would highly recommend this place.
Port O Call property was up to date and clean. IOP is convenient to Mount Pleasant where our son lives. We enjoyed the beach and various restaurants in the area.
This 1 bedroom unit worked very well for us as there was a sofa bed and a day bed for our daughter and grandkids to sleep on for the one night they were with us. The screened in deck with a slight view of the ocean was a great place for sitting. We would go back again.
We were there for a baseball tournament at Shipyard and this was the perfect anchor for our team with 6 families each renting a unit. We spent the afternoons hopping from the pool to the beach and back. What the listing doesn't tell you is that it's part of the Wild Dunes resort which has shops and restaurants!
We had a wonderful long weekend at Atlantic Escape and would definitely consider staying here again! PROS: The unit was clean, cozy, homey, and beautifully decorated. The perfect amount of beachy chic decor with modern touches. I felt right at home, and the unit was well stocked. Linens were also provided. The fact that the unit offers WiFi and Roku with YouTubeTV/Hulu especially made us feel at home, as those are the same products/services we use at home. I enjoyed thumbing through the beautiful picture books on the coffee table. This unit is very close to the beach, and located further into the Wild Dunes resort making it a bit more remote. This meant that though we visited in the middle of summer, the beach wasn’t too busy. Lastly, the check out procedures were very easy! On an unrelated note, if you’re looking for delicious eats nearby, Nick’s German Kitchen had the BEST German food, and Acme Lowcountry Kitchen offers a delicious breakfast. Both offer reservations. CONS: There is limited cell phone service on the beach in the Wild Dunes resort area. We like to enjoy our screen time while relaxing. At one point we checked out another public beach outside of the resort and we did have signal (via Verizon). The arrival instructions indicated that the parking pass we receive at the gate would have more specific directions to the unit. It did not, and because cell phone service was non-existent for us in the resort, we had to just sort of drive around and look for the place. Not an easy task as the resort is quite large, and not how you want to spend your time after spending hours in the car traveling to your destination. When we arrived we were hoping to find a directory or some recommendations from the owner of places to eat nearby as we were starving. There were no recommendations provided but this would be a nice touch for future guests. My only complaint about the unit itself is that it had pocket doors, but they weren’t functional, meaning there’s no way to lock them. I like to close and lock my bedroom door at night. If we had come with others, privacy would have been minimal, though that wasn’t an issue for us on this trip. Overall, we loved our time in Isle of Palms and can’t wait to return. Thank you!
