About this property

Enjoy your quiet getaway on a channel with direct access (and view) to the Gulf. Fish off your private dock. Bring your own boat or rent a boat nearby. The Gulf and our local sandbar is just a couple of minutes away. The yard is fenced along the water for safety. There is a relaxing waterfall/fish pond in the yard. Features include two bedrooms, one king and one queen. The entire home has just been completely remodeled with a screen covered patio. Free internet/wifi, washer/dryer, gas grill all supplied for your convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bay scalloping is our favorite time of year. Great time but limited (seasonal and very short) and amazing. Offshore fishing cannot be any better. After your long day, kick back and enjoy your view of the Gulf sunsets.

Perfect Getaway!

This property is the perfect getaway. It was equipped with everything needed. Great to relax and fish from the dock. Lots of things to do within a short drive. Excellent restaurants were nearby.

About the host

Your host

We lived in Orlando for many years. Philippe's (husband) parents lived in Hudson and we brought our boat over many weekends over the years. Fell in love with Hudson and the quiet atmosphere. We also met a lot of friends here. We decided to leave the hustle of Orlando and move to Hudson full time in 2012. No regrets. Love it here!!!!

Why they chose this property

When we moved to Hudson, we bought the property and lived there permanently since 2012. We bought it in 2006 to be near parents, who lived next door. Nothing more important than family!
