Introducing Wolf's Creek, a delightful creekside retreat complete with contemporary comforts. Nestled in a tranquil, wooded neighborhood near Idyllwild Arts, this renovated home features a spacious wrap-around deck that offers picturesque views of Strawberry Creek. Sun-drenched interiors showcase an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area with charming knotty pine ceilings and trim. The main level encompasses two inviting bedrooms, a bathroom, and a cozy fireplace, while the lower level boasts a generously-sized room with a private entrance, a queen bed, trundle bed, game area, en suite bathroom, and a separate bunk room. Outdoor relaxation abounds with multiple lounging spaces and a rejuvenating hot tub, all set amidst the serene ambiance of towering pine trees. Four-legged companions can revel in the enclosed dog run, while a convenient electric BBQ invites culinary adventures. Dine indoors at the 6-person table or embrace the al fresco experience on the patio lounge areas. Across the creek lies a secluded meadow, further enhancing the sense of privacy and seclusion.


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:
Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts.
This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January

- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.

Parking: Free parking is available for 3 vehicles (Seasonal Restrictions Apply; chains are recommended in winter, and 4X4 is HIGHLY Recommended). An electrical charging station is available at an additional fee. Please inquire about the price.

- County permit number: 002266

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.

- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

Guests booking this home under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.

Overall we had a great stay. The reason I am rating 4 stars is this cabin is advertised as a 4 bedroom and it is not. The room with the bunk bed is more like a loft, and there is no door for privacy from the stairs. So the family who had that space was not able to sleep well due to exposure to noise and light from the upstairs coming right into the sleeping space. Super disappointing when going with a group and feeling like one family got the short end of the stick. The rest of the cabin was great, had all of the amenities you need. BBQ is very tiny and not what was expected to cook for a large group. Overall, clean and beautiful views.

We truly enjoyed the beautiful setting, the cozy and efficient home, and the inviting town. It is great to be just a couple minutes from town, but to also feel rather remote and have gorgeous wooded views.

Loved Our Stay

We visited this property as a weekend getaway for my wife's birthday with our 3 kids and my wife's parents. We loved how there were 2 bedrooms that each had a king size bed (hard to find). There was space downstairs for the kids to sleep. The house is located right next to a stream so we could hear the water flowing when windows were open. Loved our time at this place and would go back.

The fireplace was excellent and out communicative hosts had it stocked with firewood. I would only say that the furnishings are due for an upgrade, as well as the BBQ pit (though that likely has to do with fire safety rules). The jacuzzi was awesome as well !!

Perfect glamping vacation

This property was a perfectly relaxing place to decompress and relax after some light hiking in Idyllwild with our kids and friends. We stayed in April when it was still cold, but the house was nice and warm. The outdoor decks are also picturesque and the house is well lit with nicely placed skylights so you can still feel surrounded by your new environment even when you are inside. The kitchen is well-equipped, and we made a small feast each night that met all the needs of our picky eaters. The kids loved the bunk beds and the games. My friend and I enjoyed the jacuzzi outside. There is a really cool stream along the back of the house. The town is also really really cute. We stopped by a couple of times, and bought some amazing tea from the cozy tea shop there

This was an older home. The kitchen fully stocked but lacked foil, baggies, etc. as well as Kleenex. The counter behind the paper towel dispenser had not been wiped down in quite a while, as it was Very dusty. The upstairs bathroom had a lot of mold in the shower area/floor. There was someone’s old contact lens adhered to the floor. The towels were musty/stale and somewhat mildewed. The carpet in the downstairs bath had a large brown stain on it (not sure what it was, but we put a towel over it). You had to be careful when closing the refrigerator because it didn’t close tightly unless you pushed on both doors. Disappoint ed there was no outdoor BBQ (propane) other than the small George Forman grill. We enjoyed our stay In Idyllwild; quaint town and the house was in a good location. Easy check-in & exit process. Sorry we didn’t take photos re: the above.

Great place to stay

Great cabin with two large living soaces. Downstairs could use an electric heater as temps are different from upstairs vs downstairs. Hot tub is smaller. There is a grill but it is a george foreman electric grill. I thought it wouldnt do our steaks justice but it worked just fine. Steaks were great. The stay was ceey enjoyable except when we were leaving we got stuxk at the bottom of the driveway. Had to get a wuick tow out because although there are stunps as pilons they need to be a good 3 feet closer to the driveway. The driveway dips off and my backup camera didnt pick it up and we got stuck with soft driveway and our back tires draped over a sudden decline.

Easy access to hiking, boating and the town of Idyllwild. New Spirit Homes staff were responsive and professional. The most inconvenient aspect of the stay was the archaic process of printing, signing, scanning, faxing the laundry list of contact and liability and release documents. If this process had been electronic and streamlined, I would have given them 5 stars.

Vacation by the Creek

It was a nice and clean home/ cabin. It could use a deep cleaning under the couch and beds. For a property that allows pets we thought it was pretty well-maintained. It did not smell like dogs and we did not see any dog hair. We generally avoid staying at properties that allow pets. The property is adjoined by neighbors on both sides that are fairly close. The kitchen had all of the basics that we needed and we never had to make a run to town for anything. We played a ton of games (we brought) and foosball. We mostly hung out by the creek. The patio was great and so relaxing. Things to note, the downstairs was much cooler than the upstairs. The beds are heated so it worked out fine. There was only one tv upstairs. It would have been nice to have one downstairs so the kids could watch movies at night away from where the adults wanted to be. There was plenty of hot water and towels. The spa was very hot and really enjoyable. It is semi-private on the side of the home but not completely obstructed from the neighbors. The water could definitely use a change but it was well chlorinated. We would not hesitate to come back to this property. The creek and outside deck really make it a relaxing spot.

While things may not look the newest inside, you will be comfortable, relaxed. Upstairs shower needs a little refresh, but otherwise, everything is very clean and works well. Would recommend to families, solo travelers, couples, etc. The two levels and individual access doors also make it great for two families to have a little separation as well, like two cabins in one! Also— New Spirit is also the BEST company to work with. Great customer service and will take great care of you.

Wolf’s Creek

This was a great place to stay and not far from town. The home was clean with a great entertainment area downstairs for kids and some adult kids. The deck was totally safe for pets with a connecting fenced yard. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again

It’s a beautiful property with a wrap around deck overlooking the little creek. We loved waking up to the sounds of it in the morning. The house itself was very clean with lots of places to sleep. We enjoyed the hot tub with the gorgeous scenery. Overall, great stay. It’s minutes away from town. I would definitely recommend and would probably stay here again! Be warned though, there is absolutely no cell service on the property. We had both AT&T and Verizon. However, there is WiFi so we were still able to make calls using that.
