Whether you're relaxing in the furnished and heated all-season porch, admiring the view of multiple peaks, or cozying up next to the gas fireplace, this vacation rental has it all and is great for multiple families or groups of friends. Prepare meals in the well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dine at the breakfast bar or the formal table for eight, and then settle into the living area to watch a favorite show or movie on the flatscreen TV. Those staying in this home's main suite will enjoy a host of deluxe amenities, including their very own gas fireplace, a plush king-size bed, a jetted tub, and a relaxing steam shower. Guests will also enjoy access to a shared playground and an aquatic center with indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, and a fitness room, located steps away from your front door. There is also a private hot tub located in the condo building.*
What's nearby:
This vacation rental is located on the property of Smugglers’ Notch Resort, so you'll enjoy access to some of the finest skiing and snowboarding in the eastern United States. Beginners will love taking it easy on Curley's Cutback and Midway, while advanced skiers can shred Birch Run and Ruthie's. There are ski runs for everyone here, with access to beginner (green), intermediate (blue), and advanced (black diamond) terrain available. Ski school and private lessons are also available for kids (and adults too)! After a day on the slopes, enjoy an après-ski meal at one of the resort’s on-site restaurants, such as Hearth & Candle.
During other seasons, you’ll be just minutes from one of the region’s top disc golf courses, hiking trails, one of the nation’s best ziplines, and a variety of other outdoor activities. Numerous mountain biking trails are located a short ride away as well. In winter and summer, let the free, on-demand shuttle take you anywhere on the resort property, including to the slopes, multiple restaurants, a pizzeria, a convenience store, and even a local Ben & Jerry’s, all located within a short drive in the Smugglers’ Notch village. In the summer, lace up your sneakers and access the village on foot via the convenient walking trail (though the shuttle is still available if you'd rather take it easy).
Hikers will love being a short drive from Vermont’s tallest peak, Mount Mansfield, and other great hiking and walking trails. Bikers and runners will find the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, New England's longest rail trail at a whopping 93 miles in length, only 14 miles away. You can also see the whole area in a new way with Lamoille Valley Bike Tours or by paddling a canoe or kayak down the Lamoille River.
In addition to on-site shopping and dining located at Smugglers’ Notch, this home is located a short drive from the town of Jeffersonville, home to scrumptious breakfasts at 158 Main and local products at the Farm Store. Those visiting outside of the winter months will be a 28-mile drive through “The Notch” from the quaint town of Stowe, where you can explore the grounds of the famous Von Trapp Family Lodge, tee it up at Stowe Country Club, and take in the views at Stowe Mountain Resort. (Stowe Mountain Resort is only 4.5 miles away in the summer and fall, but once snow hits, Route 108 is closed until the snow melts in spring. When Route 108 is closed, the drive to Stowe is 45 minutes to an hour.)
