About the host
Hosted by Audrey Tobin
The mountains are our happy place, a place of healing, reflection and Zen for both of us. We love to hike and have been fortunate enough to spend our holidays traveling the mountain ranges from Patagonia to New Zealand, The Pyrenees to the Rockies. For several years now we have been looking for a mountain property to call our own and this past summer stayed in Silverthorne for a few months to work remotely and enjoy nature. It captured our hearts and we fell in love with the town, the mountains and the people and decided that this is the place we wanted to come back to.
We spent weeks looking at a variety of homes throughout Summit County but quickly realized that the home we loved the most was actually the one we had rented for the summer. As our stay in Silverthorne drew to a close, having not yet found the “one”, we decided to ask the owners if they might be willing to consider selling the place. We knew it was a long shot, but it never hurts to ask and much to our surprise they were open to the idea of selling! A couple weeks later we agreed on an offer, set the closing date and just like that we finally had a place in the Rockies to call our own.
We want to thank you for choosing to stay at our home and we hope you enjoy all that Silverthorne and Summit County have to offer as much as we do. Enjoy your stay!

Why they chose this property
Silverthorne is centrally located to some of the best skiing (5 resorts all within 25 mins), hiking, fishing and mountain biking Colorado has to offer yet feels relaxed and remote, a place to get away from it all and just enjoy the beauty of the Rockies.
What makes this property unique
Our home feels warm, private and serene with ample space to spread out between the two living areas, three bedrooms and a loft. The large private deck is nestled against the forest, a wonderful backdrop for grilling out, enjoying family and friends or watching deer, fox or the occasional moose walk by. We are centrally located to some of the best skiing and hiking in Colorado and only minutes from great dining and shopping in town.
