Shop, grocery, supermarket 700 m, restaurant 350 m, 10 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.7 km, railway station "Wengen" 700 m, outdoor swimming pool 900 m. Tennis, cable car, skisport facilities, ski school, ice rink 700 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. The house has been newly built in chalet style. ,Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.
"Rose Studio Y", 1-room apartment 20 m2 on 2nd floor. Beautiful furnishings: living/dining room with 1 double bed and cable TV (flat screen). Exit to the balcony. Kitchenette (2 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, combination microwave). Shower/WC. Underfloor heating. Balcony, south-west facing position. Terrace furniture. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and the valley. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed.

Het was ontspannen. Geweldig uitzicht. Vrij. Het appartement is eenvoudig. Je mist een stoel om ontspannen te lezen. Het balkon is ook klein en bovendien wat fris door de richting waarop het is gefocusd. Op mooie hoogte en toch in een compleet dorp met station. Wengen is een superlocatie.

Gemütliche gut eingerichtete 1Zi.Wohnung: Positiv: sehr sauberes Dusche/WC, Negativ: Doppeltbett sind 2 Betten, die sich sehr leicht verschieben und man dadurch leicht zwischen ihnen auf dem Boden fallen kann wenn man auf dem Spalt zu liegen kommt.

A perfect stay with a perfect view

We stayed here for 5 nights and have to say although the studio is small it is perfect for 2 people in every way. Views to die for, very clean and tidy apartment which has the most wonderfully positioned balcony in Wengen. Very quiet at night. Would highly recommend this to anyone interested in peace & quiet and nature with the awesome Bernese Oberland in all its magnificence.

Clean apartment a bit away, but overall sufficient. Nice view however. Bare minimum on supplies though. No hand soap, only one pillow per person (should be at least two) one paper tower roll. Good for a home base, but not for extravagant plans.

Good not perfect

Good points: Clean, fine view from the balcony, quiet, all equipment in working order. Not-so-good points: No cutting board (an essential for all European houses), no brush for washing dishes, distant from the center of town and all amenities (Coop, bakery, restaurants, start for most expeditions). Over-all, a fine stay at a reasonable price, however.
