The State of Hawai‘i is considering Bill SB1396, which proposes a tax rate increase starting in 2026.

Deadline to Sign: July 9, 2025

Impact (If Enacted): 2026 reservations made at the 2025 tax rate may incur an additional tax charge. If the bill becomes law, we will contact affected guests to collect the difference manually.
