Great stay!

The property was as described. Kathy was great and responded quickly to any questions. We spent most of our time at the house and in the pool. Perfect for getting a much needed rest. Will definitely go back.

The property was amazing and the owners had a Welcome Basket waiting for us! That was such a lovely gesture. The house was very welcoming and clean. The pool and yard were perfect. Cannot wait to go back again.

Siesta Key Sarasota trip

This is a perfect location. Bike to the #1 beach in the USA! So much to do right there in Siesta Key or go to Sarasota. Tons of restaurants to enjoy or just stay home and cook and enjoy the pool and large backyard. We made some great memories here!

Christmas vacation

Location and neighborhood was great but had to vacuum twice and mop floors to get rid of all the dog hair.(cleaning lady issue not Owners fault?) Owners were super great to communicate with and easy to get ahold of. Would stay there again.

Anniversary Get-Away

Property and location were AMAZING! Can't beat the private pool, 1/2 mile to Siesta Beach which had free parking AND we could actually have refreshing alcoholic beverages on the beach which was nice since not all FL beaches allow. Home was the best we've had with VRBO - letting us bring our chocolate lab was key since he goes everywhere with us. The welcome basket was really nice - the neighborhood was very quiet and safe and located a block from Publix grocery. We had the best time - home had every single thing we needed - 2 tv's were perfect with Netflix, Hulu etc. - was able to binge watch a couple shows. Home was so clean and welcoming - perfect for the hubby, dog & I. Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again - heard Siesta Key was rated #1 beach in US & 5th in the world - and we can see why!

Great dog friendly house with a private pool and close to beach!

Such an adorable beach house! Cathy was such a great host and left us yummy, snacks, and ice, and water. She and her husband were so friendly and helpful with the check-in process and any questions we had about the area. The heated pool is fantastic and there are 2 extra bedrooms out in the pool house. My sister and I walked to the beach to see the sunset each night as well, it's about a 1.2-mile walk over a bridge. They also had two bikes you could borrow, and the house came stocked with tons of beach accessories. Everything is very well thought out. It's hard to find a house that is pet friendly and so we really appreciate it our stay at such a great place with out dogs. Definitely book it!

Siesta Key-January 2023

We enjoyed our visit to Siesta Key/ Sarasota for three weeks in January 2023. The home was very nice. The fenced backyard was excellent for our golden retriever. The pool was wonderful after a long day at the beach. The house had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, nice patio. We went to Siesta Key Beach almost daily (2.5 miles by car). We played several rounds of golf in the area and had lots of amazing seafood. We found a wonderful dog beach in Venice. Our one concern was a paper the owner left us after two weeks of our stay. It listed several fees we were not aware of. For example $100 cleaning fee if we did not clean the grill and fill the propane tank if we used it. Also, there is two separate sleeping spaces in the pool house. The paper informed us use of these rooms was $50 per night each. Several other fees were included for things like increasing the pool temp, dog poop fee, etc. We think all these fees should be communicated up front and not two weeks into our three week stay.

Easter vacation

We had a great time! Cozy, clean, comfortable, the pool was our favorite part. It was spotless and heated, and had an outdoor light for night swimming. We also loved the back patio with the overhead lights. Perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. Washer and dryer were a huge bonus. The beach chairs and umbrella came in handy for the beach. Would definitely stay again.

This place was awesome!! It was a perfect stay for four of us. Clean super quick ride to the beach so location was amazing! Everything we needed was at the house and close to grocery store for all are needs . Grilling was great and sitting pool side just amazing can’t say enough great things about our stay! Very small house with uncomfortable bed in master bedroom. Owners were very nice . No steak knives and very few pots and pans. Grill very dirty, sheets very thin and obviously old. Pool nice.

Great all around!

From the start of this vacation with my family the owners were great! I had to make a change quickly and they couldn't have been any better as far as accommodating us. The house is perfect and we really enjoy the heated pool. The nice welcome basket was very thoughtful and the house has everything you can think of if you need anything. We felt like the place was ours and like we the neighborhood was quiet even though it's nice and close to everything. We went to the beach with our two kids and enjoyed all the sights and restaurants around. We will be booking here again in the future!

Very cute property with heated pool and separate pool house with bedroom for teenager. Stocked with all items you’d need when traveling. Snack basket to welcome us which came in handy the first night. Walked to beach, dinner and shopping every day. Great wi-fi for telework. Would definitely return.

A Quiet Haven

Kathleen was a dream to work with - graciously accommodating us when our arrival plans changed more than once. The home was beautiful, the neighbors friendly and the pool was so relaxing. We appreciated all the personal (and practical) touches: plants and flowers, nightlights, all the kitchen supplies once could need, sharp knives - everything was just so thoughtfully laid out. We stayed for 2 weeks and some days never left the property. Thank you for providing such a lovely place for our much needed R&R. We hope to return.
