This was a great place for us to stay with two other families. We each had our own bedroom/s with bathroom and plenty of communal space to eat together and for the kids to play. The best part was the location, of course! A short walk or drive takes you to an incredible playground next to a creek where the kids can splash and play. Walk down a path from there and you will find a gorgeous waterfall where you can swim at the bottom! Lake Fairfield, which you have access to via the host, is a gorgeous lake!!! Host was very helpful and responsive.
This is a nice house with plenty of room. It accommodated two families with adult children very easily. There was a hiccup when we arrived, but the owner was easy to reach and we ironed things out quickly.
River song is a wonderful house for a family vacation. There is an amazing playground a 5 minute walk away and a path leads from there along a creek to a waterfall. There are many activities available at the Sapphire Club, weather dependent. It is a wonderful area for hiking for all abilities. Altogether we saw 12 waterfalls. At the end of our stay it rained for several days and we enjoyed the puzzles and games at the house. The house is well-equipped, with an abundance of towels and a well-equipped kitchen. You cannot go wrong with River Song!

Birthday for cousin / Memorial Day weekend
House is wonderful, well-equipped in the kitchen , furnished perfectly for large groups, beds were comfortable, CLEAN…..
HOWEVER, arrived to finding the water had been cut off for some unknown reason prior and it made our first night frustrating as no flushing, no hand-washing, no cooking, no ice, etc. The owners were equally frustrated, plus, it was a holiday weekend and Friday night! NC water came and turned water on, thankfully. Wi-FI took a while to connect with phones and then never got connected with laptops and that was not good for cousin who needed to check-in with work. TV's are Smart TVs , but more guidance/instructions are needed .... renters need to be TV remote and "app-saavy." House is conveniently located to town and eating establishments. Mountains are majestic!
Incredible house in a beautiful, secluded area surrounded by woods. Having bedrooms on both floors plus the large game room area on the lower floor was a great way to give our large family space. Loved the wooded views from many vantage points!
We so appreciated the communications with the owners and manager even over the holidays. Lynne and her husband are great hosts and will ensure an excellent stay!
This home was gorgeous and a perfect location. The leaves were changing which just added to the experience. My family and I would definitely stay here again.
The open floor plan was perfect for our family. It was a rainy weekend, so most of our planned outdoor activities were impossible, but we had a great time indoors playing games, cooking, sharing meals together. Property owner was super responsive. We especially loved the screened porch where we could be outside and stay dry.
This house was perfect for our family Mountain vacation. Exactly as portrayed in the description, clean and all systems and appliances in working order. Plenty of room for 6 Adults and a toddler. Communication with the Owners was excellent both before our stay and during when we had a question. We particularly appreciated the extra linens, abundance of towels and the Pack and Play with infant linens and towels for our 14 month old Grandbaby. The neighborhood was peaceful with a short walk to a nice Riverside park and we could hear the River from the porches where we spent most of our time. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice house in a nice neighborhood. Convenient to Cashiers and area attractions. Easy process with the owner. Will definitely inquire about future stays
We had a truly amazing Christmas holiday with our family at Lynne and Scott's home this December. The home is warm, nicely furnished, beds comfortable and amenities abundant. We especially enjoyed the very large kitchen where with a chef in the family we often gathered for long periods as meals were being prepared. We also found the combination of warmth of the living room in front of the fireplace, and coziness of the sitting room off to the side allowed for large and more intimate gatherings. Add to this a downstairs TV/family room where we could be louder without disturbing one another. As well the layout of split bedrooms / bathrooms upstairs and 2 additional bedrooms and bath down gave us so much room when we needed a bit of space. We also found the outdoor screened in porches comfortable, and with a table large enough for a meal and a porch swing all of which allowed us to enjoy the sounds of the river below. We found the recreation center, pool, hot tubs and game room a nice addition, as were the play area and hiking trail to the falls. Lynne was quick to respond to questions and pleasant beyond expectation to work with. We will return again I am sure and I do not hesitate to encourage you to use this home should it appear to fit your need.
Home was large enough for our family and in a nice country club location. The downstairs rooms were very nice and provided a nice quiet area for our granddaughter.
Large, spacious house on a heavily wooded lot. We had a lot of space for everyone in the family and especially enjoyed the screened in porches. The communication with the house owners was always very prompt and easy. The access to the Sapphire Valley Resort is a great perk.
Perfect cabin for our family trip. Was even able to swim by a waterfall and pick beautiful stones maybe 3 to 4 min. Walk from the cabin by the kids playground. Enjoyed the amenities 6 min. From the cabin at saphire valley ski resort. Was able to swim, putt putt , work out, gem mine, and even arcade and ping pong at he reaort. We loved renting a pontoon boat at lake jocasse and swinging in the mountains wirh waterfalls and cliff diving. Such a great place. Less than an hr. from sliding rock too! Perfect stay!
