Fabien, farmer in dairy farming (a nearby farm to visit for the happiness of children) and Elisabeth open the doors to a delightful mansion carefully restored and revisited in a comfortable resort, former dependency of the very elegant authentic fortified seigneury of the XVIth century. neighboring century that they occupy - having among others belonged to Michel Letellier de Louvois, Minister of War of King Louis XIV - on a beautiful property steeped in history classified as a Historic Monument for all of its buildings. Peace and quiet in the heart of the Chalonnaise peri-urban countryside, in the hollow of a pleasant green setting of fields and meadows along the banks of the Saône, with Solen, the owners' peaceful mare parked behind the gîte as a privileged neighbor. Residential area, adjoining the center of the village of Lux with many amenities, ideally located between town & countryside. Spacious gîte with good comfort. Warm country character combined with careful heritage restoration (fireplace mantel & original frame). Lots of charm & character. Large covered terrace nestled under a monumental historic "cathedral" courtyard dating from the 12th century (housing a dining area, "outdoor" relaxation area and ping-pong table) complemented by a second terrace on the courtyard side.
