Spacious home in need of some upgrades. A decent home base to stay while hiking, fishing, or just getting away. The furniture is generally comfortable. Linens and towels are provided, as well as complimentary soap and shampoo. The WiFi works very well. The back deck is nice for sitting and listening to nature. The kitchen could use a few more bowls and utensils. The house is at the end of a long driveway dotted with rusting trailers, cars, and other assorted items, but the immediate surrounding yard is clean and well kept.
Easy to get to, spacious house, great outdoor amenities, short drive to various trails and hikes. Enough kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom supplies to cater to any guest.
This was exactly what I needed. The house is at the end of a really long drive way, I'd say a 3rd of a mile of the rd!!! I loved that, it was so peaceful. In the morning when I'd have my coffee I could hear the birds singing, I got to see wild turkeys and the 2nd morning I saw a deer 🦌 I've never seen either of those animals before.
My teenager was happy to have fast wifi, he brought his Playstation and was able to live HIS best life.
The flowers around the house are beautiful, the fire pit was a great added bonus and the grill was my husband's favorite part. I could tell the house was well taken care of and lots of love was put into making it our perfect country get away.
We will definitely be back.
We stayed there for 7 days to help out a friend who bought a house in the area
It was a great place to stay for us…..it was a work vacation for me and two of my friends…..the place is just as advertised…..if you like peace and quiet after a days work or just to get away then this is the place for you…..the property is well maintained and we enjoyed the small pond and the steams that ran through….the big back deck that overlooked the backyard and the woods was a big plus for me as I am an outdoors person and love to be outside all night until I go to bed…..the fire pit was also a bonus…..the owners were very friendly and let us know if we needed firewood to let them know and they would drop some off to us…..overall a really great stay…..the Washington general store was only a 6 minute drive up the road which was very convenient as they served a great breakfast lunch and dinner…..also made a new friend where a porcupine would come by every night before sunset….I’ve never seen one before in real life…..it was really cool…..would love to go back for a real vacation instead of work…. Definitely two thumbs up from us…..
We booked the house because of its closeness to my daughter‘a house. Which allowed for spending time with all my family. Well appointed. Easy access to stores when needed
Very rural. Difficult to find. Not all exterior doors lock. Bath towels poor quality. Bathroom not clean. No spare toilet paper. Kitchen barely usable, stove cracked, lacking utensils. Main bed barely acceptable,
2 twins placed together. Beds upstairs did not appear usable. Windows blurry/ damaged blocking view of yard. Living room couches dirty and damaged. Overall a disappointment. We left early.

Rustic Retreat
The house is nestled in the woods of New Hampshire, where one can sit on the deck and get in touch with nature. We had a cute little porcupine visit us each night.
The property manager was responsive to my question and we had no problems getting in when we arrived. We felt we had to wash the dishes before we used them, but the kitchen seemed adequate for our simple needs. Everything else was fine. This place was fine.
We needed a base for a cycling event in Sunapee and had very limited options at the time booking. This was the only place available within 20 miles and it was a mistake. We booked two nights and stayed only one night and slept with one eye open. It’s dirty beyond belief, has rodents, holes in the floors, windows covered in grime and not suitable as a rental under any circumstances.
