Vaulted ceilings and ocean views in most rooms of the house. Roku/internet TV's (Netflix, Hulu, YouTubeTV, etc) and 1 gig internet in every bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave, utensils. Nonsmoking, no pets. Downstairs: 1 Queen, 2 doubles. Beach view was fantastic, from the private gazebo and the deck as well as from inside. The house was clean and the location was perfect. There are several places within walking distance. Dan was wonderful to work with!

The location of the house and number of bedrooms are perfect! However, the house is outdated, a lot of “things” are worn out and need to be replaced. If you want to sleep good you’ll need to bring a memory foam mattress topper as well as your own bedding and towels. Could use an overall facelift for the price.

Fabulous ocean front beach house

Our friend group had a wonderful 4 night stay! We especially loved the gazebo, all the windows in the main living space, the cleanliness and the number of bedrooms. A very comfortable setup! Dan even let us get in earlier than the checkin time! We can’t wait to come back!

The location of the property is great! Private access to the beach with a lovely gazebo. See the sunrise every morning! Nice house with plenty of beds!

We had never been to oib. It is a beautiful family friendly location. This house is all about location location location. The walkway and little gazebo were perfect. We enjoyed sitting listening to ocean and walking beach. Would stay there again

Great stay at Ocean Isle Beach

We had an amazing time at this property during our stay at Ocean Isle. It is in a perfect location and an easy stroll to the pier and shops. The Ocean front views are awesome both East and West and tons of room on the beach for whatever we wanted to do. The owner, Dan, was very communicative and responsive to any questions we had and even texted us to let us know when the cleaners were done so we could check-in early. This beach retreat is exactly what you see in the pictures and I would highly recommend!

Returning Group

This is my small group (aka - The Tribe) go to destination when it comes to going to the beach. We have a total of 14 wonderful Christ centered women in our group. Dan's place is the best because of the layout of the rental. It is perfect for us, right on the beach, and we love the location which is in walking distance of the pier and shops. I highly recommend this rental for a women's group trip! Cindy

Great views from ocean front duplex.

The duplex is very well situated ocean front. Quite large considering it is a duplex. The views are great and is the highlight of this home. A couple of improvements: This accommodation requires that you bring linens and towels. We forgot to bring a bath mat, so it’s good to remember that so you don’t slip on tile floors. My bedroom had very spartan furnishings and no suitcase stand so you have to put it on the floor. The windows looking out were dirty, so we cleaned them. Housekeeping should do that before arrival. Other than these quibbles, we enjoyed the home and would return again.

I cannot say enough nice things about this place. The house is in the perfect location, right on the beach and within walking distance to the pier, shopping and restaurants. It was clean and spacious. The host answered all questions in a timely manner and kept in contact during bad weather.

Only complaint I have is the same one I had last year. Stove never got hot enough to boil water and since we do all of our own cooking, this created a few late dinners. Myself and all of my guests are over 70 years old we will probably have to look for a different rental next year. Steps were really a problem for some of us. All and all, we had a wonderful time. Dan was most accommodating.

Ladies beach getaway

This house was perfect for our 10 ladies (all family) beach vacation. We loved sitting on the gazebo to watch the sunrise. Easy access to the beach, plenty of kitchen and dining space. Would stay again, very happy with everything. Enjoyed the little ice cream shop down the street that we walked to. Ocean Isle is a very beautiful area.

Property was as advertised! Our family (9 of us) had a wonderful time ! We had great communication with owner ,Dan Rudolph ! Only real negative thing is we have a special needs adult son, who does not do steps well , & this property was really hard on him with steps ! Property not really conducive for handicapped or people having a real hard time with steps ! Property has great Ocean views,great floor plan, great gazebo that is very very close to ocean !

We had a great time! The house is perfect for our group and was clean and ready for us to check in. This is our second year and we plan to go back next year on the same dates. Shhh! Don’t Tell!

I hesitate to write a good review because we really like this place and don’t want to lose it, but Dan has always been an excellent host and deserves the truth. We are a group of women who come down every November, our third time in this location and we are sold on it. As everyone says: clean, good location, great host response, also love the gazebo and the layout of the social area with two tables and a bar that make it possible for games, puzzles, and eating to all go on at the same time. So happy we found it!

Labor Day Ocean Isle Family Beach Trip

My family had a wonderful stay at Ocean Isle - complete with watching a sea turtle hatching. The house was perfect for us. Plenty of rooms and beds, right on the ocean so that we could go back and forth to the beach, large open kitchen living room area, lots of eating space, and a delightful gazebo for watching the sunrise or hanging out in a light rain. Dan was very responsive to all our questions. The response from the maintenance guy when we found some outlets not working was quick, and he showed us how to reset them. I highly recommend this house.

We purchased this property in 2021 when we fell in love with the uniqueness of the house (vaulted ceilings and ocean views from most rooms of the house) and the fact that it is on the widest part of the beach and has a gazebo on the dunes overlooking the ocean and pier.
