The location of this VRBO is perfect, there are many restaurants, activities and beaches within walking distance! The communal pool was also amazing for down time and relaxation—it was never too full and always had chairs available for our group.

Lovely spot to stay in AMI!

It’s within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. It was clean and dog friendly. The pool was beautiful. It does need a little TLC but I would stay there again!

Perfect Mid-Winter Getaway

This property was the perfect for a long weekend away from the Michigan winter. It was our first time staying on this end of the island and we enjoyed that it was quieter and less crowed.

Perfect location, close to the beach, the pier and the restaurants, everything that you needs in the unit. I'm giving 4 due to the mattress, very uncomfortable. Needs new mattress.

Great location, the rest not so great.

The location is situated perfectly for easy access of all the north end of the island has to offer. The pool was fun for my 9 year old and quiet. The bed and the pullout couch were awful. All three of us had restless sleep due to the sleeping situation. Not only was the sleeping situation awful, but so was the musty smell. I found myself coughing due to the mildew/mold smell. My clothing now smells from the mildew. I would not stay here again. Other units may be better if you want to roll the dice. We were happy to leave.

Unclean rental on arrival

We arrived to the rental Saturday night to an unmade bed, dirty bed sheets, dirty towels and trash left from the previous renters. I immediately texted the after hours number who stated they reached out to the local staff and would reach out with updates. After not hearing anything by Monday afternoon and no one being at the on-site office despite it being during office hours I finally decided to email which I apparently should’ve done right away because someone finally brought us some clean linens and took our garbage. Being that our vacation was halfway over and for as much as we paid to stay here this was extremely disappointing. The least you expect when you rent a place is clean linen. We really enjoyed the pool, location and the island in general so it was a very unsettling way to start our trip without as much as an apology or any kind of service recovery from the staff.

Perfect location/several issues

Although our family had a great vacation, there were several issues we encountered during our stay. Management made access to our unit with Spectrum while we were out and did not notify us. We only found out because all the satellite boxes were missing from the bedroom dresser. When I contacted the management company it was only then that we were told someone came into our unit. Completely unacceptable when a simple phone call could have been made. The power went out for several hours and we lost internet several times during our stay even though we were notified before our arrival the internet was being upgraded. We had a homeless couple staying behind our unit in the alley and they were also using the laundry facilities for the property, yes I contacted the management company again. The location is great, unit was clean and we enjoyed the pool.

Horrific HOT night

The beds were horrible with a dip in the middle. The AC broke the night I arrived . Slept.in heat until 9am next morning when I could call office.

Perfect location

We loved this location at the north end of AMI. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops, beach and piers. Other guests were very friendly and inviting. Pool area was resort style and very nice. Like other reviews, the bed mattress was broken down and the most uncomfortable nights sleep we have ever experienced. The bed is the only thing keeping us from returning.

Don’t waste your money...horrible sleep and no internet!

The title states and promotes internet. We never had internet. I was texting and no one knew what was going on. Just saying restart the router, not even knowing where the router was. They said bedroom. I asked every day for help, finally someone came the day before we left. He was complaining g about the internet as well, saying they were fighting w people...no idea. The bed is tiny. It fit just my 12 year old. That was the only compliant I read online and that it wouldn’t be that bad...IT WAS! For as much money you charge you should at least get a decent size and concept bed. The pull out was terrible as well, felt every single spring. So, the beds sucked and we had no internet which was promised. I have many photos illustrating all of it. Every the mess of all the old modems and cords that didn’t even work but was told I’d find the router in the bedroom. I even have screenshots of the communications. I really was bad. Plus, kept getting bugged about parking and we didn’t even have a car. People were outside complaining like crazy.

Location A+

Ideal location, great bars and restaurants within walking distance in any direction. The Waterfront, The Sandbar, Ginny’s and Jane E’s Cafe highly recommend. The downside to this location is the bed, neither the wife or I could get comfortable. If I was rating the location by itself I would give this 3 stars (middle of the road) for the bed alone. Place is well equipped with pots/pans, dish ware, etc.
