The cabin is perfect away from others.
Open the windows and you can just hear and see the beautiful nature around. The big fire place was just what we were looking for. Definitely a great family cabin or for a date.
We will definitely be coming back!
Awesome Concept, Beautiful Property and Great People
I booked the cabin as a quick getaway around Valentines Day. To say my expectations were exceeded would be an understatement. The Pictures look great but rarely do you pull into a property and think wow, this is even better than the pictures. Truly an escape into the mountains that is rustic yet has all of the amenities one is accustom to in modern living. The Owner was helpful and responsive and the Property Caretaker was friendly and kind. If you are looking for a romantic getaway and a time to disconnect I highly recommend Four Fillies Lodge.
This cabin is just stunning! From the vintage logs to the heated bathroom floors, it was just lovely. It is stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and has games and DVDs as well. The only issue for me was no cable or tv streaming. We stayed over New Years and it would've been nice to watch the ball drop on tv. This cabin is shown in an episode of Barnwood Builders, but we didn't realize that until we were back home. The Appalachian Trail access is just a few miles away and it would be nice if info on things to do in the area had been more readily available. When choosing cabins at Four Fillies, I wasn't sure which to book, but this was definitely an excellent decision. Oh, also, signage telling you that you're actually entering Four Fillies and not private property would be helpful also. We had no idea where that road was leading us!
Beautifully appointed rustic but modern cabin I’m the woods!
Absolutely perfect! My family and I loved this little cozy cabin. The loft bedroom was so cute and perfect for my 7 year old. A great alternative to stopping at a hotel for a night when traveling. I can’t wait to come back!
