Perfect property in the quiet location. Walking distance into the old town and amazing view.

We couldn't have asked for a better place. Excellent location close to bergerac and a view directly on to the river. The house was so clean and had everything you could ask for. The owners were amazing and even popped in with some freshly grown tomatoes.

This cottage was absolutely perfect for us. Everything was spotlessly clean and having Aircon was a real boon. Our hosts were lovely and great with communication even though my French was rather hit and miss😜.

Wow, an excellent property and fabulous hosts!!! All communication before arrival was seamless, and super helpful. The property itself was ideal and spotlessly clean. It had everything you could have wanted from a holiday home! Check-in and checkout again were smooth and very friendly. Would highly recommend this house, it’s even better than its write up. Its highlight is that it is right in the river … but with that in mind, bring your bug spray and a fishing net.

Fabulous property in a wonderful position over looking the Dordogne and within easy walking distance of Bergerac. It was a very quiet road leading to the property where the car could be parked safely in a lay-by.

The photos do not do this properly justice- the garden is truly beautiful enhanced by its river view It’s an easy short walk to Bergerac town with it’s beautiful medieval area The location is perfect for exploring the Perpignan area with its many beautiful villages The house is modern, clean and well maintained

A tranquil setting, superb property

A superb property only 10 minutes walk into Bergerac, but on a quiet road overlooking the River Dordogne with a pretty garden and so tranquil. The property is very clean and well equipped and with a nice patio and garden to relax in what more could you want. We had a fantastic holiday and would recommend this property to our family and friends, the owners couldn't have been more helpful

Lovely place, lovely people

Great location right by the Dordogne, and a short walk into Bergerac. Quiet, clean, modern, well-equipped, secure, easy parking right outside. Beautiful garden right down to the river. Very handy for the airport but no disturbance from there. Perfect base for exploring Bergerac and the Dordogne, by foot, on bikes, by car. Jacqueline and Jean-Marie are really good hosts - friendly, welcoming, helpful and responsive.

A fantastic house with a beautiful garden!

The photos do not do justice to this clean, well maintained house! It has everything you need for a stay in Bergerac. Lovely areas of the garden to sip wine, drink coffee and watch the river go by. Comfortable beds, a nice shower, and good cooking facilities. The layby across the road is perfect to park a car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house and our only wish was that it could have been longer!

Beautiful Gite

This property is clean and lovely. The garden is beautifully done and very tranquil. The Gite is situated in a quiet area of Bergerac but close enough to walk into town. The only setback is that it should be easier on check in. Make sure you clarify times just in case of flight delays. Contact numbers etc. The landlords are a lovely couple, but you need to know your french language lol x

A lovely stay

My wife and I were very happy staying here. As advertised, clean, modern, comfortable, view of river etc. A pleasant 10-15 minute walk into town. In a very quiet road, easy to park next to the property in a sort of lay-by, (felt the car was safe there). Hosts were very friendly & welcoming and despite language barrier we managed well with the help of translation apps! No problems. Good restaurant options in the town in walking distance. Think we will visit again.

A picturesque cottage with amazing view of Dordogne

We cannot recommend this cottage enough. The owners have spent so much time in making this quaint cottage as beautiful, comfortable and as tranquil a place as possible for their guests who visit the Bordeaux region of France. This is a quaint cottage surrounded by trees with rose bushes, shrubs and ornaments with views of the Dordogne river, perfect for a peaceful hideaway to get away from it all. Wildlife is abundant in this area with many different species of birds and other beautiful creatures nature has to offer to this area. The cottage is within easy walking distance of Bergerac town centre for wine tasting in the Quai Cerano where you can purchase local wines or to visit the many of the boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. We love it here and will return again next year. Thank you again Jacqueline and Jean Marie for your warm welcome x

We werden gastvrij ontvangen door de eigenaars. Ze hadden water en champagne in de koelkast gezet voor ons. We kregen een rondleiding en uitleg met wat handen en voeten werk en het beetje Frans wat wij kennen. Een schoon en leefbaar huis, prachtige tuin om te vertoeven en met een schitterend uitzicht.

Belles prestations et charme fou au rendez-vous

Le gîte est fidèle aux photos mis en ligne et les propriétaires sont accueillants et soucieux du bien être de chacun. La propreté du logement est irréprochable et la modernité des infrastructures est à souligner. La vue imprenable sur la Dordogne nous a enchantés et le jardin fleuri est un enchantement. Nos chiens ont été accueillis avec bienveillance. Nous reviendrons sans aucune hésitation et recommandons ce gîte idéalement situé à dix minutes à pied de l'hyper centre de Bergerac.

Ein perfektes Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist ein Traum. Es ist sehr gut eingerichtet, schön hell und der Garten ist wunderschön. Von der Terrasse hat man einen direkten Blick auf die Dordogne. Durch die Gartenpforte kann man auf ein kleines Sträßchen gehen, das entlang des Flusses in die Altstadt von Bergerac führt. Da wir unseren Hund mitbringen durften, war die kleine Promenade entlang der Dordogne sehr praktisch. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Cadre idéal, maison magnifique

Très agréable séjour. Tout y est : le cadre en bord de Dordogne, la maison rénovée avec goût et les propriétaires à l'écoute et disponible. Logement très propre, fonctionnel. Tout y est : linge de lit, de toilette et de maison. L'extérieur est aussi très coquet avec un beau jardin et un salon de jardin. Bref, je recommande.
