About this property

Modern Guest Suites in Beautiful Wooded Setting, Steps to Lake MI Sleeps 6

Pine Nut/Pine Cone Guest Suites overlook a beautiful wooded setting, with visibility to Lake Michigan. Direct beach access to spectacularly wide, pristine stretch of private Lake Michigan beach frontage. Enjoy Lake MI shoreline walks, sunbathing, volleyball and evenings spent watching sunsets around any of 5 Association bonfire pits perched on the scenic dunes (tables, ample wood and roasting tools provided). Ideal for small family getaways, enjoy nearby private tennis/pickle/bball, 2 children's play areas, fishing, biking, hiking, windsurf and kayak opportunities, U-Pick blueberries, Holland’s bountiful farmers' market, and the nearby restaurants and shops in quaint downtowns of Holland, Saugatuck and Grand Haven.

Our Guest Suites offer a slightly unconventional, but new and comfortable, separate living quarters on 2 levels with combined living/sleeping spaces with 2BR/2BA, 1 fully-equipped Kitchen and a kitchenette, with all modern amenities and a balcony for morning coffees or a quiet outdoor workspace overlooking peaceful wooded setting.

PLEASE NOTE: A single flight of stairs required to access either guest suites (one flight down or one flight up). 2 street level parking spaces provided; additional overflow parking available off-site via stairs. Not handicap accessible. Access to the Lake Michigan beach front also requires stairs and walking, approximately 5 minutes.

Both levels with A/C and 300 mbs WiFi throughout, large screen Roku Smart TVs. Linens/towels, beach chairs/umbrellas and numerous books, games, puzzles and toys - just bring your bathing suits! Bring your own bikes or rent nearby for fantastic bike trails past blueberry farms north to Grand Haven and south to Holland. Bring or rent kayaks for lazy days of paddling on the Pigeon River/Pigeon Lake.

6-7 night minimum stays for prime Summer months, with lower Spring and Fall rates and shorter minimum stays.

ABSOLUTELY NO large, loud gatherings, weddings. NO pets or smokers, please. We are part of a charming, tightly knit and very closely-situated community of small cottages (where noise travels easily) with nearby neighbors who enjoy this quiet beach-front setting. We wish to preserve their goodwill. We are looking for guests who will be respectful of these parameters. Thank you for your understanding.

Part of a historic private cottage association (since 1906) surrounded by a combination of unique turn-of-the-century classic cottages and new homes, rolling dunes and wooded trails, with access to Pigeon Lake, docks, newly resurfaced tennis courts, beach volleyball, superb hiking and bike trails, children's play areas, beachfront fire pits (stacks of wood provided) and picnic tables. 15 minutes' drive to loads of excellent dining options, breweries (New Holland, Big Lake, Odd Sides, etc.), antiques and art galleries, Holland Farmer's Market, blueberry picking and quaint shopping in nearby Holland, Grand Haven, Saugatuck and Douglas. 45 minutes to Grand Rapids dining, breweries (Founders, The Mitten, Brewery Vivant) and exceptional cultural offerings (Meijer Gardens, Grand Rapids Museum, Ford and Grand Rapids Children's Museum, etc.).
