About this property

Lake Ontario Beach House Getaway-Two Full Homes

Welcome to Littlefield Lake House! This property includes two large houses with direct private beach access to beautiful Lake Ontario. It is ideal for large family getaways. The sandy beach is perfect for lounging, building sand castles, and taking sunset strolls.

Nightly rates are increased for less than one week bookings and vary, please message for details on pricing. We offer discounted rates for bookings greater than 1.5 weeks.

Amenities include: Wifi at both houses, central AC and heating, and access to a washer and dryer in each house.

There is a Pack n’ Play (collapsible crib) located in the master bedroom of each house should you need it.

House #1: Closest to beach. This house has 4 bedrooms, one loft, a large kitchen-dining room area, a spacious living room with a smart TV, and 2 full bathrooms. There is a deck with grill. Smart TV's are located in 3 of the 5 sleep spaces.

House #2: This house is closest to the road and the larger of the 2 houses. This house has 2 kitchens (one on the main floor, one in the basement), 3 bathrooms (one on each floor), 5 bedrooms, and a large open kitchen-living room-dining room area. There is desk space in the master bedroom of main floor as well as the master bedroom of the basement for those who work remotely. This house has its' own deck and grill. There are 5 smart TVs in this house: Two are 55" located in common areas, one is 32" located in bedroom on third floor, one 40" smart TV in master bedroom of main floor and one 40" smart TV in basement master bedroom.

Note about the grills: We do keep a propane tank at each property for the grills, but the tank levels are not monitored or maintained. If they run out, you may exchange the tanks at a nearby store.

4 ocean kayaks with lifejackets are at the property for use as well as flotation devices. There is a fire pit area between the two houses and in front of the small house; you can also have fires on the beach.

The water is treated and safe to drink, however, we also have a 5-gallon water dispenser in the kitchen of each house if you prefer purified water and want to bring your own 5-gallon jug of water. Please note we do not provide the water jugs, but have a dispenser available for use.

Please take time to review the House Rules upon booking. This property belongs to an HOA and we will not be able to rent the property unless the rules are abided by ALL guests. The house rules are also posted at the property and available in the Welcome binder.

Can't beat a waterfront hottub

Very nice property. It is always so nice to be on the water. There are a decent number of large bedrooms and good sized beds. Multiple hot tubs, one on the water. Lots of great living and fun spaces

Awesome location, great beach and water. The access road next to the property was key, it made getting my elderly mother in law down to the beach easy. plenty of beds for our 21 guests. Just plan on sweeping a lot of sand on a daily basis, we did the best as we could to keep it out but failed at it. some the the faucets hot and cold water was backwards so check first. The A/C was a life saver on the hot days.

Great Family Spot

We were a family of 14 adults and 4 children ages 2-5. This was a beautiful location with a great sand beach. We rented both houses for the 7 families and it worked really well with plenty of space for everyone. The owner was very responsive to our needs. It was very private. There was a good supply of beach toys and kayaks for us to enjoy. There was a new bath in one house and it appeared to have been freshly painted. If we do another get together in this area, we would likely be back.

Perfect lakeside getaway

Perfect Lake Ontario retreat for a memorable family getaway! Beautiful spot right on the water with sandy private beach for kids to play on. Water was shallow enough for kids to wade in with small waves perfect for boogie boarding. Very quiet location to relax and unwind. The houses had more than enough space for our group of 14 people ages ranging from 2-75 and were both very clean. Loved that we had 2 full kitchens, plus a full sized fridge in the basement. We really enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, ping pong table and toys in the kids bunk room. We were able to visit a nearby golf course and go kart track within half an hour drive. Overall a wonderful family vacation in a gorgeous spot, hoping to book again next summer!

Beautiful location and lake

We had a great time enjoying this property....location, location, location. A couple of suggestions would be to have a hose/water supply outside each house for rinsing to help eliminate so much sand in the house. And a mat of some sort between houses to avoid all the sand. It was very difficult to keep it out of the houses. The smell of the water (sulphur) was challenging but we purchased drinking water and the owners are trying to get that under control. On the whole it is a perfect place for a family get-away. Thanks Michelle for everything. You were quick to answer all my questions and concerns and I appreciate that.

Week on the beach

Our family, 8 adults and 7 kids ages 5 to 12 and one chocolate lab, spent a week at this property. It's backyard is the beach, perfect for families with children who want a convenient beach vacation. We really enjoyed the sunsets and fires on the beach. There are rafts and kayaks to use. There were plenty of outdoor chairs for everyone. The houses were well stocked with paper towels and toliet paper to use. The houses are cosmetically updated and are comfortable. The AC worked well. The owners were quick to respond and very hospitable. Had 2 issues that were taken care of quickly. I think its important to know a few things about the property. The driveway is somewhat shared and we did have a few other vehicles accessing the beach during our week. The water has an odor especially in the back house. It was hard for the kids to shower there due to the smell. Might want to bring gallons of water if you are renting the property. It was even difficult to do laundry there do to the water. The area is rural. There's a small corner store a few minutes drive away, where we purchased fire wood. We visited Old Macdonald's farm, about a 20 minute drive, and had a great time. We enjoyed the hayride and the ice cream. Overall we had a nice week on the beach.

Why they chose this property

As a large family, we know the struggle of finding a vacation property large enough to accommodate many kids and multigenerational family needs. This property appealed to use for exactly this reason: it is large, has many bedrooms, spacious main gathering areas, and direct private beach access. Each house has its' own hot tub, firepit area, deck, and grill. The property is located 5-10 minutes away from many state parks and other family-friendly day-trip locations.

The direct private beach access to beautiful Lake Ontario is the highlight of this property. In addition to this, the property is fully outfitted, so you can pack lighter and easily settle in for the duration of your stay.
