This house is a quintessential Jersey Shore bungalow, with all of the comfortable upgrades (like central A/C) while maintaining a charming vintage feel. There are three bedrooms, and one full bath. The house sits a stone's throw away from the most magnificent sunsets the Jersey Shore offers. It's a short walk to the downtown shops and attractions, as well as the Bay front beaches and play grounds, or the beautiful beach and boardwalk. Bikes included! Beach badges avail for a small fee.

Wonderful weekend at this little bungalow only thing I would mention is it is not handicap elderly friendly.. totally not the owners fault at all, she was lovely and very gracious just something I think I should mention.

Cute little house, not too far from the beach. Has almost everything you need. The only downside is some of the main room furniture is not very comfortable and/or doesnt fit the space well. Great communication with property owner!

Owners will mooch every penny off of you

1) this is a SHARED PROPERTY. This is not disclosed in listing. The owners are next door, they converted the backyard of the house into being their yard as well, so you’re left with only the front yard and you feel like they’re watching your every move. 2) the owner offered linen service, which was really just her making the bed with her sheets that had holes in them. So I basically just paid money to have her do her laundry. 3) they charge you for beach passes. The first jersey shore home I’ve ever stayed at that I have to pay for badges. It is common practice to have 5-6 included in listing. 4) kitchen is poorly stocked, there isn’t even tall glasses. 5) the “bikes included” are rusty bikes that had all flat tires. Overall felt like these people were squeezing every penny out of me and my family. And again, this is a shared property. That NEEDS to be disclosed.

This review actually made me laugh out loud! I’ve managed a rental house for 9 years, and I’ve never had a negative review like this. In fact, the few times guests have made better recommendations, we’ve done each and every one of them. This reflects poorly on our guest’s mannerisms. Beautiful Location

We had a great weekend at Jen’s property. Everything was as described and the location is only a few blocks away from the beach which was great. Loved the keyless entry too!

Chris and I (Jen) are newly married with a blended family of young teenagers. It was our dream to live in Lavallette and raise our beautiful family here, among our friends and family. I owned a rental house in nearby Ocean Beach, that I rented in the summer to wonderful families over the years. It was such a positive experience that we jumped at the chance of having another guest house to rent here at the Jersey Shore. This area has so much to offer and Chris and I are so happy to have people stay with us in our updated, but original vintage beach house.

Why they chose this property

It's classic Jersey Shore at it's best. I grew up here and my grandfather owned a house with a rental the next block over from this house. This house reminds me so much of the best parts of my childhood summers - simpler times with family and games and playing outdoors. It's safe and family friendly with so much happening through recreation with the town.

Everything is right here! Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat, or an outdoor excursion, it is literally all right here. Bikes and beach badges are even included!
