Location! Location! Location! This custom home sits on over 1/2 acres in one of Las Vegas best neighborhoods. just 3 miles from the action of the Las Vegas strip. The house is also just minutes from the airport. The freeway ramp for the 215 is nearby, so anywhere you want to go is just minutes away. This beautiful home sits in an area where all the homes are all at least on 1/2 acre lots, with many on lots of 2 1/2 acres or more. I can help you out with reservations for Vegas golden Knights tickets or any other events you may need You can email me for details Don't get stuck in one of the hundreds of rentals that are stacked on top of one another in a housing track where the homes have no personalities. This is a great area and a great house The location is just minutes from all the action on the Las Vegas strip but feels like you're out in the country.

This is a also great house to hang out in. There is an indoor spa, a pitch and putt golf green (clubs provided if you don't have yours). A built-in grill area sits by the pool that's set up like a lagoon with a waterfall, Doggie friendly There is a dog area-kennel that is fenced Dogs welcome with refundable dog deposit Also have a pool table and dartboard to enjoy along with 9 different TVs

(If you decide you would like to use the propane heater to heat the pool there is an extra $500.00 deposit required this is not part of the security deposit.)There are 2 ponds and a 180-gallon fish tank. There are four bedrooms, and also the guest casita that is included!! bedroom one is set up like a kid's room with a full bed and a set of bunk beds, A master suite features a sliding glass door out to the spa/ pond room. A third bedroom is a traditional room very comfortable king size bed. The fourth is on the other side of the house. It has 2 full beds and is set up like a hotel suite. It has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower and looks out on to the pool area The way the house is set up with the one bedroom set on the far side of the home comes in handy if there is some late-night socializing going on, but someone needs to get some sleep The casita Has a kitchen and king bed and a full bed. Also, there are many couches and a fold out beds. The televisions in the house comes with Dish Network with the Americas 200 package, so if you do decide to spend a night at home there is plenty of shows to choose from. All the bedrooms have their own TVs.

We can help with any needs you might have. There is always someone available 24/7 We can help you with any issues or questions you might have during your stay, The owners live next door, so we can be right there, ready to address any and all problems. You can call anytime night or day. There is is no rave events or parties allowed. This will be strictly enforced. The goal is to make your stay as hassle free as can be! There is an onsite manager and security cams that face the driveway (there are no cameras inside the property)

The pool/spa area is a real great place to hang out. Fire up the grill and enjoy your vacation. The money you can save by enjoying your meals at home, sitting by the pool, will more than pay for your stay here at the house. The house is pet friendly. (We can install a dog door that leads out to a fenced grass yard that is escape proof.)

House exceeded all expectations. The property was awesome, pool/ hot tub were great. TV's pretty much in every room along with bluetooth speakers made hanging out in any space so much better. Owner lived in property next door making any questions or concerns a non-issue. The owner does have 2 incredibly friendly dogs who find their way on to the front of the property so I would recommend just informing the owner if you are allergic!

We loved our stay at the Ponderosa. Lots of room and lots of extra room for activities. The location is perfect, close to the airport and close to the strip. Our only complaint would be as follows: need new towels, sheets and outdoor cushions. Thanks for a great stay.

The property was a short Uber ride to the Vegas strip . Stores for food shopping were only about a mile away easy walk. Jack the owner was very helpful, Jack does live on property in sperate apartment but never a bother.

Host was super with communication and answering any questions. House was nice with rooms on both ends so one side of house quiet and kids had the other to themselves. Outside area was nice and our dog had a lot of space with everything fenced in. Not more than 10 minute uber to about anywhere! We will be back!

great way to bring in the new year

This was a very great stay for my group and I. this was my first booking on Vrbo and I could not be happier with the stay. the home is very spacious with an east and west wing, hot tube and mini golf. we loved how close the listing was to the strip and to the airport. Jack, the host, was great at communicating with us and helping and accommodating us with what ever we needed. will call on this listing again when traveling to vegas with a big group.

Solid rental

The house looks exactly like the pictures!!! We had multiple families stay here for a thanksgiving celebration and the house worked out well for us. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and the living room served as a nice gathering area. Pretty chilly but the crazy kids still made use of the pool (without us heating it, although that was an option) and they spent lots of time hot tubbing. Jack, the owner, was super responsive via phone and texts. Checkin was easy and checkout was great, we didn’t have to do anything!

Great Stay!

First off, Jack (our host) was fantastic! He explained everything about the house. The house is very spacious with plenty of bedrooms and beds for a wonderful get together. The back yard is truly awesome. Nice pool, and toys. BBQ is great and the "tiki room" is unique (has a coy pond, bar and TV). The only drawback is the airplane noise (under a flight pattern) but is quiet inside the house. The home has 2 doggies that were in the front yard and were very friendly. (we miss "Blue and Birdie" already!) Anyway, is in a safe neighborhood and close to everything (airport, and strip). We highly recommend this property

The Perfect Bachelor Pad

We recently stayed at Jack's house and our group was very satisfied with the house overall. In general, the house is very large and we had plenty of space with 9 people, but it would have been fine with the maximum (12). We were a group of 9 guys on a bachelor party trip, so the pool and hot tub worked well for us. We did not need to heat the pool, as the weather was 105F+ the entire weekend. Giving the property 4/5 overall based on some minor issues, nothing that couldn't be easily fixed though. Pros: +GREAT location, close to airport and strip +Huge house with plenty of space to hangout and sleep +Host was very accommodating and responsive, came to fix a couple issues that we had during our stay (garbage disposal, AC) +Ample parking if you rent a car +Large pool and hot tub +Good sound system in the main living room, along with pool table and dart board +Large equipped kitchen Cons -The house can feel dated in some areas (bathrooms, bedrooms, furniture) and could use an update -Minor things like broken floor tiles or broken doors don't go unnoticed -If you have a car, need to manually open/close the front gate every time -several issues with the grill, we were never able to actually get it working Overall, the property was perfect for our needs, and Jack exceeded our expectations as far as communication and service. He does live on the property but as others have mentioned never a bother. With a minor facelift this property could be an exceptional five star experience.

Awesome Unique Vacation! Just what we were looking for!

My husband & I stayed at Jack & Annel's home for 5 days last week. We travel to Vegas often and since this trip was our 23rd Anniv, we opted for a private home where we could have privacy as well as hit the action of the strip when we wanted to. This home was perfect! It was very well stocked with anything you could possibly need, I was actually amazed at all the provisions, etc that was thought out and available at the home, everytime I thought of something I forgot or needed all I had to do was look and I could find it there! Alot of reviews brag on Jack, but this review will brag on his wife Annel! She went out of her way and way out of what would have been expected of her to be sure we had everything we needed. We had arranged a private driver for the week who cancelled the day we arrived and Annel just picked right up on that and she took us everywhere we needed to go the entire time, she never once told us no, she went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of us and to be sure we arrived safely everywhere we needed to go, even to Downtown Vegas and the airport early on the morning we left. Yes we could have gotten a car rental, but since we were in Vegas we were in "party mode" and did not want to have to drive so Annel just took right over that, I am not sure if she does it on a normal basis, but we were very thankful she did it for us. It would be hard for me to say my fav thing about the home as there was so much it had to offer, we could not even use everything in the 5 days we were there. The fish tank & ponds thru out the home are awesome, we cooked the entire week & every condiment plus was available for our use, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, appliances, I dont think there is one thing you could find you needed that is not provided. I would recommend this home and the Owners if you are looking for a trouble free vacation where everything is taken care of. Gary & Cat Hall

Great Bachelor Getaway!

Our group was in Vegas for my buddy’s bachelor party and this house was perfect. Had everything we were looking for, and the AC and pool were life savers in the record breaking heat! Jack was awesome and easy to communicate with, and his two dogs were excellent companions as well!

I grew up back east (Boston) and have spent lots of time sailing and also spend lots of time in Costa Rica. I have tried to capture that feel of the ocean here in the desert at my vacation home. This beauitful house features 2 ponds and a 180 gallon fish tank, along with the pool and juccuzi to capture that tropical feel that I love. I also enjoy meeting all the folks that come and stay. It's really a lot of fun. and we have become fast friends with many of our guests.

Why they chose this property

One of the many reasons this ia great renatl is because of this property's great location, just a couple of miles from all the action of the Las Vegas Strip. But when you want a retreat from the glitz, it feels like you're out in the country. You can go for walks out in the desert, and have the backdrop of the Las Vegas Strip.

What makes this property unique

You can really enjoy yourself in the heated pool. jacuzzi, spacious sunken living room with satellite TV. This house, about 3,000 plus square feet. has it all. You will not be disappointed. IF YOU WANT TO HEAT THE POOL A $500.00 DEPOSIT FOR THE PROPANE IS REQUIRED THIS IS NOT PART OF YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT
