The Ziehr apartment is the unit located on the left side of the building as you are facing it. It is within one mile of Downtown Eau Claire's shops, restaurants, and bars. It's also a 10 minute drive to the music festival grounds (Eaux Claires, Blue Ox, Country Jam) and a 5 minute drive to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. This newly remodeled home is full of character and amenities including a private patio & dedicated concrete pad with grill.
This property has a long history and we were determined to keep that history while updating towards a more modern, welcoming look. Constructed in 1881 during the waning years of logging in Eau Claire, the house features a gable front and wing façade and wood frame, characteristic of Folk Victorian architecture. The house maintains its original wood siding and windows, as well as its original decorative porch.
With updated amenities guests will feel right at home. During the summer guests can enjoy a beautiful patio and short walks to local parks.

Loved our stay over Christmas! The place was the perfect size for our family of four (2 adult kids). Kitchen had everything we needed to make several meals and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay again.
The house is charming, tastefully decorated and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with plates and cooking ware. There is a washer and dryer. The only thing to be aware of is that the 2 bathrooms are located upstairs.
3 couples stayed at the Ziehr Apartment. It was cozy, beautiful, and plenty of room for all of us. The location was perfect; close to shops, restaurants, a park, and the Blue Ox Music festival. The host was great to work with, answered any questions in a timely fashion.
We came to EC for our daughter’s graduation from UWEC. The house is exactly as advertised and the location was perfect- easy to get to campus and downtown. Both walkable. Will definitely be staying here again.
Property is great in ever sense. Rooms and comfortable. Bathrooms are nice. Location is walking distance to everything we could want. Only issue we had is the front door lock was hard to open. It took 5-10 tries to get in and we couldn't get in touch with the host the day of check in. After we got in, we would always leave rear door unlocked in case the front door lock had issues again.
The property had a lot of original charm and character. It's very close to Carson Park. We were able to walk there and use the bike/running trail by the river. Very close to everything in downtown.They had some disposable razors, shave cream, mini toothpaste and toothbrushes which was a very nice touch.
We had a wonderful time in Eau Claire. Enjoyed staying at this beautiful old home, well appointed with everything we needed and more. Located perfectly in town near parks and bike trails.

this updated historic property was perfect for the wedding we attended in a nearby park, parking available and we were able to get the property code before traveling when requested.
This property exceeded our expectations! Was very clean and had every type of amenity that you would need. Great location too! Very easy to work with the property manager! Would highly recommend!
