Wonderful Get-Away

This is a beautiful property -- inside and out! Susan was a very generous and accommodating hostess. We could not have asked for better responsiveness. The location was wonderful; we could walk to restaurants and the grocery store and we could easily drive to the wide variety of beaches on Cape May. I would really like to do a repeat!

Dream swimming pool

This is a gorgeous house with a lot of space inside and outside, ideal for resting but also for having dinner together and games, social interaction, etc. However, if I can add more , the cherry on the cake is the fantastic swimming pool —- dream vacation house!! Thanks Susan!

Lots of space and charm

This property has lots of space inside and out and the grounds are beautiful! It was a great place to stay with extended family because there was lots of room to eat as a big group and to hang out together, but also places to escape to when you needed some alone time. The house is full of interesting, but fragile decorations, which was an extra challenge with children around, but the toys and children's books provided by the owner were a nice touch. Although the VRBO listing says 3 full bathrooms, there are actually 2 full and 1 half bath and an outdoor shower, which was handy for rinsing off after the beach and for showering kids, but the adults would've preferred a solid structure over the circular shower curtain that enclosed it. Overall, a great place to stay and we had a wonderful week together after so much time apart! Thank you, Susan!

Beautiful house able to accommodate numerous adult couples and kids

The house was exactly as described and pictured. My adult family and I were looking for a house to rent together and while 5+ bedrooms might not be a tall order for a shore house, one that accommodates 4 adult couples (ie at least four bedrooms with queen or larger beds with no one resigned to pull outs or futons) that is still kid friendly and within budget is a VERY rare find. The home and grounds are beautiful and meticulously kept and Susan was a wonderful host! This house made our wedding weekend all the more special

Wonderful stay!

Couldn’t have had a more wonderful time at Susan’s house. We were all so grateful to see each other after a year of covid (we were a large group of longtime friends and a couple kids) and this big beautiful house in a cute neighborhood was just the ticket. We loved stone harbor beach and the huge yard. The kids loved the outdoor spaces, from the koi pond to the puddle in the driveway. We had everything we needed!
