Great Pond House: a classic Cape Cod summer awaits at this two-bedroom East Falmouth home. Walking distance to a private beach and Bristol Beach.

The centrally air conditioned house has an all season sunroom with a private patio and gas grill. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, and the second bedroom has a full size bunk bed and a twin size trundle bed. The couch in the living room pulls out to a full size bed.

The property is 4 houses from Great Pond Beach/walking path. The water is shallow, calm and warmer than the ocean, perfect for small children, paddle boarding, kayaking, and beach combing. This beach is primarily used by residents of the street, very quiet, a great spot to avoid the crowds. The walking path along the pond's perimeter is very scenic and a quick 1/2 mile walk to the ocean.

The home is located on a quiet dead end street providing a safe area for children to ride bikes. It is in close proximity to shopping conveniences such as a grocery store and liquor store, within less than a mile walk or drive. Main street Falmouth's quaint shops and variety of excellent restaurants and pubs are 2 miles from the property. Looking to explore? Be sure to check out the quaint village of Woods Hole with the science aquarium and seaside restaurants. Mashpee Commons (10 minute drive) is the spot for shopping and restaurants. For a relaxing day excursion, head out to Martha’s Vineyard via the ferry terminal located just a mile away. Enjoy the Shining Sea Bike Trail on a beautiful ride to Woods Hole. Cape Cod Winery, Bad Martha Farmer’s Brewery, and Aquatic Brewery Co. are just a short drive away.

A fun Cape Cod vacation

The house is in a great central location for hitting the beach, restaurants, and other excursions. The house was very clean and is located on a very peaceful street. The property owner was very courteous, responsive, and helpful. It was an all around great experience.

We enjoyed our stay here, the neighborhood was great - quiet and safe. Just a few houses away from the private beach. (Not really a place you would lay out in the Sun, but great for walks, and for children to play in shallow water.) Public beach is a short walk (take the road not the trail). Would have loved a throw blanket in the living room and some games!

Fantastic Falmouth Vacation

I can't say enough about this cottage. Everything you would need was there for our week. Great location to the beach, Falmouth Commodores Games, great restaurants. Such a comfortable cottage with a fantastic outdoor shower we enjoyed everyday!! Owner kept in contact with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!

Great location, right near a trail that i ran every morning down to the beach. Right near Bristol Beach! Clean and Cozy house! Great central AC for when its hot, tv's in each room and dining/living room furniture. Outdoor shower, patio and BBQ were great to have as well. 5 mintues from Falmouth Main street! Stacie and phil were great to rent to from! Nice people and very helpful! Great response time! Looking foward to staying here again! Was a very pleasant stay! Thank you!

Perfect get-away!

We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice the property was and all the amenities that were included. Having Air Conditioning was an absolute must for us and the AC performed very nicely. The owners were in touch with us early on and very responsive if we had any questions. They were also nice enough to let us know that the property was ready three hours ahead of our scheduled check in and that worked out perfectly for us to get the extra time. There is a beautiful coastline trail within walking distance and even a couple of small lake beaches that can be used. Another ocean beach is just a 15 minute walks away or a very short drive. The location is so central and so many things nearby. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to stay with nearby beach!

We were so fortunate to find such a cute place last minute for a out of town family wedding. The house was immaculate and perfect for 5 people. Private beach a short walk away was wonderful to get toes in the sand for a bit. Owners kept in contact with us throughout the process - would highly recommend!

Cute summer home rental, steps to walk down to beach

Lovely, really cute summer home rental! Location cannot be beat, relaxing sunroom for morning tea, enjoyable outdoor dining w gas BBQ w awning, central A/C, working wood stove, hi pressure shower, quiet year-round neighbors, steps to walk down to Great Pond beach area, easy bike/walk to Bristol Beach, neighborhood benches were great to watch the fireworks from, easy driving/biking to many stores: Falmouth Fish Market, TJX, HomeGoods, Shaw’s, Walmarts, Stop n Shop. Ferry to Martha's Vineyard/Nantucket also an easy ride via trolley or by car. Shining Sea Bikeway close by. Enjoyed the Falmouth Farmer’s Market with local artisans selling at the Falmouth Marine Park on Thurs afternoons. There is 4 hrs free electric vehicle charging at the marina. Terrific French bakery Maison Villatte and great shops in downtown Main St, along with weekend horse rides, and a carousel behind the Falmouth Library. Stacie communicates easily via text or email. This is really a 5* property. I took a star off there’s no dishwasher, fridge is tired, washer/dryer access thru bulkhead and takes 1+hr/load (rained the days we needed to do laundry), the kitchen and bathroom while serviceable needs updating, no broom to sweep out 2 storm's debris on patio, owner/cleaning have to work out some kinks (although cleaning people came right away), and there’s new construction of a large home across the street. There was fortunately no construction the July 4th week we rented, but we weren’t told of the possible noise, in advance, even though I emailed multiple times w the owner. As it's a vacation to get away from it all, construction noise would've been problematic. There’s probably another 3 months of construction beyond mid July 2021 as the windows/doors were not in. The pics didn’t show there’s a large white patio table and 6 chairs + bench along with a new outdoor shower.

Fabulous rental.

We had a great stay! The house was clean, organized and had everything we could need. The hosts were communicative and helpful. And the location can’t be beat. I’d def rent from them again!
