Spencer Palms is a beautifully updated 3br/2ba mid-century modern home in Palm Springs' famed Racquet Club neighborhood. Built by the renowned Alexander Construction Company in 1959 (Palmer & Krisel Architects), this stunning home has recently undergone some major updates while maintaining its original mid-century charm. New features include: New solar panels so you know you're staying in a home that runs on clean energy. New windows that open to let in the fresh desert air. New shades for the windows to keep you cool and comfortable during those warm summer days. Brand new roof for peace of mind.

Palm Springs is all about great outdoor spaces! Here, you'll find an expansive and well-manicured lawn, an enormous pool (33ft x 14ft), a six person above ground hot-tub, a gas fire pit with a comfy lounge area, a BBQ grill with its accompanying outdoor dining area, AND stunning views of the majestic San Jacinto mountains.

Entering the home from the circular driveway, guests are greeted by a picturesque vision of Palm Springs in the 1950s, as original concrete breeze block walls flank the walkway to the front door – a unique, and Insta-worthy, enhancement to the classic Anderson home.

The social spaces of the home are lined almost entirely with glass, providing natural light and beautiful views. The living and dining areas, with original vaulted tongue and groove ceiling, are decorated in the spirit of a midcentury home, with a clean, comfortable, timeless style. A large sectional and armchairs provide ample room for the crew to sit around the fireplace or the wall-mounted 50" smart HDTV.

The kitchen has been finished with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a large island with counter seating. A six-person oval dining table connects the living room and kitchen giving you picturesque views of our San Jacinto mountain range.

In the private space are the home's two guest bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and the primary suite. Each carefully designed guest room has a queen bed, a large open closet, and an individually controlled air conditioning system. The shared hall bathroom has a shower/tub combo and a skylight for added light. The primary suite also has a plush queen bed, a large closet, a 43" TV, a slider with access to a patio and yard, and an ensuite bath with an original step-down Roman tub shower and a door out to the pool area.

Whether you're relaxing or entertaining, this home is sure to accommodate you. Situated just a three-minute drive from downtown Palm Springs and within walking distance of two parks, this is the ideal location for any family or group.

Additional notes: W/D, pool floats, several outdoor chaise lounges, and fully equipped kitchen, no garage access.

RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE:
**Pool and spa heat are optional for $30-$80 per day. This fee is not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book.
**Minimum age for every guest is 25 unless accompanied by a parent. No groups larger than 6 (regardless of age) and no parties.
**Palm Springs has strict noise, occupancy, and parking rules, INCLUDING THAT NO MUSIC IS ALLOWED OUTSIDE AT ANY TIME. Violation of these rules will result in a $1000 fine and immediate eviction from the house with no refund.
**This house requires both a $750 refundable damage deposit and the purchase of additional damage insurance for $59. These fees are not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book.
**On rentals of 28-nights or more renter is responsible for the entire gas and electric bill from check-in to check-out based on meter reads. A $3500 utility deposit will be collected after booking and will be applied to these bills. Any remaining balance will be refunded to you.
**The City of Palm Springs requires an additional written contract which you must sign after you book and requires that you send us a copy of your ID before you check in.
**This home is not pet friendly.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If I am sincere, I was not impressed with the property itself as it was outdated and didn't feel clean upon arrival or the management company. I did not like or appreciate all the common-sense rules and threats that were in place. In my opinion, these rules and threats are entirely unnecessary and detract from the overall experience of living on the property.I believe that a more welcoming and understanding approach from the management company would significantly improve the overall atmosphere of the property. It is essential to foster a sense of community and mutual respect among guests rather than relying on threats and rigid rules to maintain order.I understand that managing a property can be challenging. Still, I believe there is always room for improvement, and a more customer-centric approach would benefit both the residing guests, the homeowner, and the management company in the long run. We travel extensively both in the US and abroad, generally opting to stay in a house versus a hotel and we have never experienced so many rules followed by threats. Most of the places we rent are in the $20K plus per week range. As such, we will opt for a different experience next time we’re in Palm Springs.

Very comfortable and private environment
This is a nice quiet neighborhood with a great big backyard and large pool. Very secluded and the house was clean. Easy to get to shops, restaurants, the Art Museum and the Tram! We would love to go back.

Beautiful house and grounds
We stayed here for 2 weeks. House is well located, decorated and cared for. Minor acclimated questions and were addressed immediately. Overall the management was responsive and I would highly recommend this property.

Great get away for the family. Very quiet neighborhood. Close enough to everything for us. Pool was great. Coordinating with agents was excellent. Had everything we needed.
