Welcome to Villa Carpe Diem, also known by the locals as " The Lazy Rock " . Seize the day and enjoy each moment while surrounded by Aruban Nature. Relax and enjoy the outdoors, listening to the sounds of our Local birds and the whispering of the island's Northeast Tradewinds while taking in the Scenic View of large, natural boulders, cacti and our famous " Kwihi " trees. This unique location offers peace and rejuvenation.
The house has 6 bedrooms with a total of 7 beds
(3 King, 2 Queen and 2 Twin ) along with 4.5 bathrooms. Plenty of room to bring your whole family or a group of friends.
You will surely enjoy the outdoors during daytime; cook dinner outside at our BBQ grill, stock your drinks in coolers in the ' Palapa ' next to the outdoor pool equipped with an outdoor shower and an outdoor bathroom or you can relax in our outdoor areas shaded by our local Kwihi trees. A true piece of paradise on one happy island !

Paradise in Aruba

This was our first trip abroad with our family of seven. We knew that staying in a Vrbo would make more sense than staying at a resort, but we were astounded by how superior it really was. This villa is stunning. It not only sleeps 10 easily, but the property is enormous and filled with gardens and lovely outdoor verandas and seating. The pool is immaculate and we spent many hours poolside with piña coladas and margaritas. The villa had snacks waiting for us in the kitchen, the air-conditioning was running and we felt so welcomed. Yes, the resorts are nice, but we felt like we got a taste of the real Aruba. Our favorite outings were to the more wild side of the island on the rocky eastern coast. Most people made a major outing of it with tour companies, but we just took a five minute drive over after dinner most nights. Honestly, we could rave on and on about the villa, but mostly we just hope to go back again soon!!!!

Beautiful spot

We enjoyed this property so much. The house was beautiful and well-appointed. It had everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy Aruba. Our host was so kind and made it easy for us to enjoy our time.
