Not ideal for long stays!
I would not recommend staying here for longer than three or four nights. We visited Aruba recently and intended to stay at this property for one month. But after arriving, we quickly realized it was impossible to stay here for longer than three days. We immediately contacted the host after the first night because many of the amenities that we expected to have simply were not working, were outdated or did not exist. We spoke with the host and said we would like a refund because we’re only staying for three days and they refused. They not only put the home back on the market to rent it but took our entire month stay as well. I think ethically that to me is an issue when you take a guest money and they don’t choose to stay there especially when you promoted the property to be modern and the images don’t meet real life. The compromise they offered was laughable and basically a slap in the face. We left anyway. First off they have a bug problem they are everywhere second off the kitchen is dated. The cabinets are falling apart and the stove is missing knobs. The pool area is very ”rustic” let’s just say that. There was a dead lizard when we arrived in the pool side bathroom. There’s no washer and dryer. I’m sorry but it’s impossible to stay anywhere over a week if you are use to living in the United States and you don’t have a washer and dryer. I know it’s first world problems, but this was not properly disclosed when booking. The home layout is not ideal and very impractical.
