Modern, comfortable house located on the medieval city wall

The loving ambience with a beautiful uninterrupted view of the vineyards and the equipment of the house (dishwasher, coffee machine, stove with oven, washing machine, television, radio, bed linen, towels, hair dryer, sun loungers, a dining area on every terrace) invite you to relax. 2 bakers, 1 butcher, 1 grocery store, magazines and tobacco, wine cooperative and the Office de tourisme are only a few minutes' walk away. The "Journée du livre (3rd weekend in July, many well-known writers are coming), a hike in the nature reserve of the Toulourenque, a trip to the antique market in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, a canoe trip on the Ardèche and the many Events from music and theater festivals from May to September make this holiday particularly eventful.
The Dentelles de Montmirail on the doorstep invite you to hike with any difficulty level.
Our house is very tastefully decorated as we also use it as a second home

The star ratings are accurate so no need to repeat. This is a lovely property from which to explore the area of the Dentelles. It is very well equipped with everything that one could wish for on holiday. The views from the living room and main bedrooms is spectacular. It is a very short walk into the village with its amenities (shops and restaurants); a short drive to the town of Vaison; within easy reach of the local villages. There is lots to do locally. For swimming, there are outdoor pools at Beams-de-Venises and Vaison. Rachel was very welcoming. We had a lovely time, thank you, and would gladly visit again.

Bestens ausgestattetes Haus in dem wir uns sofort zuhause gefühlt haben. Der Ort Sablet hat alles was man braucht, in 3 Minuten ist man zu Fuß beim Bäcker, Krämerladen oder in der örtlichen Bar. Ringsum Weinberge in denen man wunderbar radfahren kann. Unvergessliche Sonnenuntergänge auf der Terrasse und sehr fürsorgliche Vermieter - was will man mehr.

Sehr schönes komfortables Haus bietet alle Möglichkeiten

Mit unserem befreundeten Ehepaar verbrachten wir wunderbare zwei Wochen in anregender typisch provencalischer Umgebung mit Wandern, Rennradfahrten, Besuchen der kleinen und großen Städte mit ihren Märkten und Cafés, Weinverkostungen etc.. Und konnten uns davon auf den beiden Terrassen des Hauses gut erholen. Die umfassende Ausstattung hat uns ermöglicht, die reichlich angebotenen Lebensmittel zu leckeren Menüs zuzubereiten. Die Schlafzimmer mit dichtschließenden Fensterläden boten langen und erholsamen Schlaf.

Geschmackvolles Haus in charmantem Ort im Vaucluse

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in dem geschmackvoll und sehr gut ausgestatteten Haus auf der alten Stadtmauer verbracht. Der auf einer Etage gelegene Wohn-Essraum mit gut eingerichteter Küche lud bei kühleren Temperaturen zum Aufenthalt ein. Es war eine interessante Bibliothek ( Romane, Reise- und Kochbücher) vorhanden, was uns sehr freute. Auf den beiden großzügigen Terrassen konnten wir die sonnigen Stunden genießen. Die Schlafzimmer und Bäder auf den anderen Etagen waren großzügig. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr gut. Auch wurden ausführliche Informationen zu dem Objekt und zur Umgebung zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cette maison, et nous avons apprécié son calme, les 2 terrasses avec vue magnifique, ses 3 chambres spacieuses, la décoration intérieure, et le garage qui nous a permis de stocker tous nos vélos. Nous avons aussi apprécié l'accueil de Rachel qui a répondu à toutes nos questions durant notre séjour. Un endroit à recommander!

The owners of this property are exemplary hosts and have a very lovely and comfortable home. We enjoyed using the elegant bed linens, eating off of fine china, and dining by candlelight at their solid cherry dining room table. The rooms are spacious, and the layout is well-planned. We also appreciated that all the basics are provided--from paper towels to laundry detergent. Sablet, of course, is wonderful. It has all the amenities needed. From the two terraces at this home one can see the endless beautiful view and enjoy the breeze from the north. We will be returning soon to this spot!

Wir (2 Ehepaare ) haben in diesem wunderschönen Haus mit genialer Aussicht auf das Umland 2 Wochen verbracht. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.Es ist absolut alles vorhanden,was man sich für einen sorglosen Urlaub wünscht.Die sehr freundliche und individuelle Betreuung durch die Vermieter hat uns positiv überrascht! COMFORTABLE HOUSE, FRIENDLY OWNERS

If you are thinking of renting a vacation home in the Vaucluse area of Provence, you need not look any further. Sablet is a quiet medieval hill-town with everything you need. And, its location is ideal for visiting the many market towns in the area, historical sites, a plethora of wine domaines, and cultural events in nearby larger cities as well as for enjoying hikes, bicycle rides, or a friendly drink on the patio of the local pub. The accommodations are superb and spotlessly clean. The owners, Freider and Edeltraut, were friendly, thoughtful, helpful and efficient, contributing in no small way to the enjoyment of our vacation. The house has everything which one could want to be comfortable. And, the views from the terraces are breathtaking. As a previous reviewer noted, the photographs do not do the home justice! In our years of traveling, this is one of the nicest towns and most comfortable accommodations we have enjoyed. Relaxing on the terraces with the surrounding panoramic vistas, sharing a cup of coffee or glass of wine and some still warm baking or a dinner provides for a very relaxing beginning or ending to the day. We enjoyed living here for a month and we plan to return.

Love the village and love the owners

Sablet is a lovely, small village with the services you need: grocery store, bakeries, butcher, sports bar, coiffure... The house is up on the (small) hill of the village and affords pleasing views across the Cotes-du-Rhone vineyards. If anything, the house is nicer than the photographs indicate. It's well-equipped and there are pleasing, high-quality kitchen things. The best thing, though, is the owners. They are so caring and responsive that even I, a jaded traveler, was impressed. You can't go wrong with this place.

Wir kommen schon seit vielen Jahren in diese herrlich gelegene Ferienwohnung und sind immer wieder begeistert. Es passt einfach alles: großzügige Wohnung, liebevoll eingerichtet, perfekt ausgestattet, sauber, toller Ausblick, Garage, Geschäfte in Laufnähe, Ausflugsmöglichkeiten ohne Ende. Das Haus ist modern und liebevoll ausgestattet und bietet jede Menge Platz. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Es ist sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Der Ausblick von den beiden Terrassen ist traumhaft! Bäcker, Metzger und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind gleich um die Ecke. Das Haus liegt absolut ruhig im mittelalterlichen, typisch provençalischen Ortskern. Für uns die ideale Basis für unsere Entdeckungstour durch die Provence. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war reibungslos. Rundum empfehlenswert!

This is the place you have been dreaming of!

We have stayed here several times already and always had a wonderful vacation. The lovely home provides plenty of room for the whole family. We found it perfectly supplied, clean, tastefully decorated and the 2 balconies allow a breathtaking view. The garage is a big plus to keep the car safe and cool. The area offers everything one could possibly want: sights, nature, leisure ...
