Enjoy the best of Florida in a freshly renovated Heron House On CrookedLake (2022). Spend quiet time at home watching sunset on Crooked Lake from the front porch OR a quick jaunt into Mount Dora for Festival, shopping OR 30 minute drive to Disney OR walk to a 90 acre amazing preserve with birding and walking trails OR visit any of the hundreds of Lakes in the area! NO Smoking. No Cats, one dog allowed with $75 Pet Fee. NO Work trucks (HOA), No third party rentals, no smoking, no RVs.
NOTE: During Feb/March, Owner resides in apartment space over garage. No shared spaces. 40 mins to Disney. 35 mins to Orlando.

Heron house

We had a great time. The house was very clean and well taken care of. The view of the lake was great and the sunsets were cool. Quiet neighborhood and close to shopping and restaurants. Would do it again.

Happiness at Heron House

We experienced a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Heron House. The quiet neighborhood overlooks Crooked Lake. We watched spectacular sunsets from the front deck and the back patio was cozy for evening meals. The house was clean and had all the comforts of home. Even though we were less than a mile from Route 441 you would not know it. Nature trails and winding roads give you a country feel. The owners are a wonderful couple who truly cared about our stay. They were helpful and responsive to any of requests. Heron House is definitely on our return list.
