Open Water View from porch , dock, bikes, kayaks, trailer parking included!

This beautifully furnished, very clean, well-stocked modern house is located in Venture Out, a private residential community in the fabulous Florida Keys.
The house has direct ocean access for the serious fisherman. Keep your boat on our concrete dock with water and electric on the dock as well as a nice fish cleaning station. We also included an off-site spot for your trailer. The fishing here is outstanding- Depending on the season, Sailfish, Dolphin, Marlin, Grouper, Hogfish, Snapper and all species of reef fish and world class Tarpon fishing.

Snorkeling and diving at Looe Key Reef, many wrecks, and the back country are all readily accessible. There are commercial dive and snorkel trips available within a few miles of the resort. We have lots of snorkel gear for you to use!

The property features a private sandy beach, a large, heated pool plus a kiddie's pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, pickle ball, bocce, etc. there is plenty to do while you are here.
We also have 4 bicycles, two kayaks and a paddle board at the house.

The marina offers gas pumps, boat ramps, pressure washers to wash down your boat and trailer, and air pumps for your tires!

Of course, Key West has much to offer with all of its unique festivals such as Fantasy Fest, Goombay, Goombay, Hemingway Days, etc.
Marathon has the famous Turtle Hospital and the Dolphin Research center where you can swim with the dolphins.

Please be advised that there is an amenities fee of $125. that gets paid directly to the Venture Out upon check in (this is not an owner charge this is a condo association charge for use.

Also be advised that we have a security camera under the house facing the dock. you will see it directly above the lockbox.

Great canal-front property

We really enjoyed our stay on Cudjoe Key and particularly the location of this house in Venture Out. It was well appointed, clean, and comfortable with a nice view of the canal and a short walk to bigger water views.

Keys Trip

Been vacationing in venture out for years and this was by far the nicest place we have stayed in. Fantastic home and hope stay there again next year. Would recommend this home and host to everyone.

Family friendly-conveniently located

Venture Out was a wonderful place to stay. Close to Key West to make day trips, but far enough out to enjoy peace and quiet in the evenings. Venture Out is a family friendly location. We were able to bike around the property to get to the pool, beach area, and convenience store. Melanie was a great host. Our check in time wasn’t until 4:00, but she called to let us know the property was ready and let us check in early. The house sits right on a channel with beautiful sunrises. Kids could kayak and swim right at the house. We definitely recommend this place and hope to come back!

Decent place.

Please put another Google map on your site. By following your map directions you end up in the sticks on Blimp Rd. I have had great experiences with VRBO but never so many threatening notes ( eg: please empty the dishwasher and put dishes away or you will be charged $25 dollars for dishwasher. Wash your own beach towels. Only one set of sheets per bed, make sure all garbage is put out or you will be charged). I'm not sure what types you are used to renting to but it felt a bit disrespectful and threatening.

Clean home, listing not 100% accurate and host style of communication can be better

The home was overall very clean, spacious, and perfect for our family vacation. We utilized the kayaks and bikes. I will note that the bikes are rusted and can be challenging to pedal. There are several rules for staying in the home, one of which, was not clearly noted on the listing. One of the rules is that the air-conditioning unit cannot go below 74 or the unit will "freeze up." If you know anything about the Keys during the Summer, it gets HOT. If I had known this, we would not have booked. This information should be clearly noted on the listing. On the day of departure, my kids accidentally placed plastic Publix bags in the recycle bin, as they typically do at home. Even though this is a violation of the rules, I felt the Host could have addressed it in a much more customer friendly way vs texting me that she now has to pay someone to sort out the garbage. This was an innocent, simple, mistake, that should have been handled better by someone identified as a "super host." Because I questioned the intent of her texts to me, she labeled me as "nasty" and basically threated to charge my credit card because she had to pay someone to pull out one or two plastic publix bags. So basically, even though the place was clean, we will not be staying there again.

We had such an amazing time! We felt very welcomed and the place was so nice and sweet and laid back. Having security there 24 hours a day 7 days a week was a nice perk and the pool and hot tub were Amazing. The condo itself could not have been cuter, and the location right there on the channel was perfect for sunrises and sunsets. We are already trying to figure out when we can get back down there!

Excellent Spot in the Keys

I don't have enough space to write the things I loved about this stay!! The house is perfect. Literally. The bathroom is adorable. The shower is awesome, the beds are PHENOMENAL!!! The views are amazing, the resort is perfect. I just loved everything. The couch was comfy, the dock box was full of stuff to use like snorkels and masks and noodles, etc. Thanks so much, Melanie. You've done a great job on your home. :)

Beautiful Home, excellent stay!

The house was perfect! Very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Beach towels and beach chairs, fins and snorkels are ready to go!! Gated community and Security in the neighborhood made us feel safe. Pool and hot tub are GREAT! The canal was so relaxing. Small grocery store and boat ramp and dockage available in the neighborhood.Thoroughly enjoyed the trip! I’m going back!

Plenty of room for a family of 4 ( includes 2 teens). Well stocked kitchen and very clean. The best was catching fish right off the back of the house. We look forward to planning a return trip.

Spent a wonderful week here with our teen daughter. Loved having the option of riding bikes down to the pool. The location was perfect, right between Key West and Marathon Key. We found fun adventures within a short drive each day. Also enjoyed getting to know other people who were staying in the gated community resort! We’d love to come back!

Property was well stocked with everything you need. Great location. Only minor thing was had to fill out same paperwork 2-3 times when checking in because they didn’t have it… assuming it was a communication issue between host and security. All in all I would highly recommend.

Nice relaxing place to stay in the Keys

Stayed for a week at this charming VRBO with my husband and another couple. Plenty of space for all of us to enjoy. The house has everything you need. We didn't have time to use the kayaks but did use the bikes and also the new grill. Went to Key West for the day which is only a 20 minute drive from Venture Out. The heated pool at Venture Out is very nice....comfortable 88 degrees. The only thing we wish we would have known about is the list of activities at the resort. We didn't find out about them until our last day there. The guard at the check-in didn't give us a the list when we arrived in the evening. Maybe that is something that only the office has when you check in before they close for the day. The property manager for this unit was easy to get ahold of her via text. She responded promptly to any of my questions. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Great location and nice neigh hood

My wife and I were down for the key west marathon. The place was great, beds very good good stock of pots and pans. We used the 2 person kayak which was very nice but it weights a ton hard to get out of water. Bikes were also great to use although a little beat up. I which their was a little more information on the area ,by the time we were getting comfy with the area we had to leave. Fishing poles would be a nice addition. Also I know we are the exception but if you don't have a cell phone the owner can be very difficult. Thanks we will definitely stay here again..

Gorgeous Key Get-a-Way!!

This place was beautiful. When staying in a rental, there can always be a little something that is not right or goes wrong. Nothing went wrong with this place. The master bed evidently has an older form top mattress that doesn't dissipate heat, so it you are warm sleeping you will want to sleep in the second bedroom. It's not quite as bad. You may want to bring your own King Sheets and pillowcases. They were very rough!! All in all, I would recommend this place! They seemed to have everything covered! Remember that you have to pay a $125 plus tax fee to the resort weather you stay one night or more. This is on top of your rent to the owner!

Why they chose this property

This upscale home is meticulously maintained, well stocked and beautifully decorated. We also pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our home. We even wash bedspreads every time!
The house bright and airy and comfortably furnished and looks down the canal to the open water! We even have brand new plus beds, one king size, one queen.

What makes this property unique

The home is located on a nice wide canal with direct open water access for boaters. Keep your boat right in front of the house at the beautiful concrete dock with water , power, and a fish cleaning station. there is also a bait freezer for your convenience. There are two double wide boat ramps, a marina with fuel, and a convenience store on the property. Other r boater friendly features include a pressure washer to clean up your boat an trailer and an air compressor for maintaining your tires. The use of these facilities is included with your amenities fee.
Our house is located within venture out and the amenities charge is $107.50 at the gate for the use of it’s facilities.
The fishing here is outstanding. Depending on the season, Sailfish, Dolphin, Marlin, all species of reef fish and world class Tarpon fishing.
