BUGS AND ROACHES
The property needs a landscapers touch out front and an exterminator on the inside and outside. Black beetles around the pathway and around the doorway and above the doorway and all over the foliage. Roaches in the apartment. I believe the building has roaches because of the washers and dryers downstairs. The unit is neat except the glass doors to the bathroom and bedroom and the toilet needs to be replaced and the sower revamped because it leaks onto the floor. ROACHES and the bugs are the MAIN issue.
I stayed here over the summer of 2024 while working out of OKC. Overall I would stay here again. The location is nice. Plenty of things to do, lots of restaurants and everything downtown OKC has to offer. You’re within walking distance of the midtown plaza and a tram can take you over to Brick town if you don’t want to drive. The only issues I had were. The WiFi is incredibly slow, the dishwasher doesnt work well and there’s quite a few homeless people that frequent the area. However that’s not really the properties fault.

Upon arrival, key was not left in the lockbox as it was indicated. Someone from the property let us into the apartment building, and when going into the apartment- someone’s shoes were behind the door, a Blk suitcase was in the living room floor by the couch, and the couch had pillows on it as if someone had been sleeping on the couch. Thankfully no one was there for altercations with us just walking in on them!!
We made multiple calls to the host, with no response- still has not returned my call almost 24 hours later. The lady that assisted with letting us into the building called the real estate ofc, who was also unwilling to help. There comment was they were not in the office and weren’t able to look anything up. Here we are standing in the hallway with our bags. If we leave, we aren’t able to get back into the building because we don’t have the key to the front door. After waiting another 20min, we were hot and needed to use the rest room after traveling so we went to the closest convenience store. I then began contacting VRBO. The first agent on the phone with me, got disconnected and did not call back. I called again after 10 min, and spoke to another agent. She advised I should see a refund in 5-7 business days. Hoping for my refund with this property. Also hopeful that this host and property will be removed from VRBO and not able to create the stress on someone else. This was supposed to be a stress free weekend for us, but instead it was one of the most stressf
Started the trip with a dead cat on the front lawn when walking up. It stayed there for 3 days. The front has cracked tiles and the front door was often covered with beetles.
Need to be aware that the doors between the bedroom/living room and the bedroom/bathroom are glass and completely see through. We saw bugs - lots of them. Cockroaches and spiders. I sent pictures to the property owner and never heard back. Wifi went down - texted the property owner and never heard back.
It is very, very basic and no frills. You wont hear from the property owner if there's an issue, there's nothing extra. Bring everything you need - including extra blankets and pillows. Incredibly disappointing.
It was a very nice little place. Quite and in a good location to places to enjoy. The only negative is was not being able to use the TV for down time before bed lol. I would definitely stay again.
Perfect little place. Walking distance to all fun spots of midtown and to a streetcar stop that takes you everywhere else. Comfortable. Grateful for the Fire Stick, and coffee grounds already in the cupboard! Only thing missing was a wine key, but the bar around the corner was kind enough to help me out. Thanks for everything!
