The Upper Mission Estate with private pool & backyard

Take a look at this gorgeous 4500 square foot home in the desirable Upper Mission. The property is on 1 acre making it big enough for families with a grand front entrance and parking comfortable for three vehicles and extra parking for a fourth in guest parking. The main floor has an open concept with kitchen, living room and dining area looking on to the brand new pool and huge back yard with all new patio furniture and bbq. The main floor also includes one of the two master suites in the house which includes a queen, a tv with a walk in closet and a grand bathroom with a soaker tub and shower for two. The master also a patio door that leads right out to the pool and outdoor living.


The upper level leads up to the living area with a couch, fireplace and tv as well has three more bedrooms, and a semi private area with a pull out couch. The second master suite is on the upper level that mirrors the main level suite however has a cozy fireplace and a patio door leading to a big deck looking on to the pool a great way to have your morning coffee. Another bedroom right off the master that has a bunk bed which is perfect for kids and teenagers. The third bedroom is just like a master with the huge space looking down on to the pool. The upper level also has a huge double sink bathroom with a soaker tub. Also with more convenience a bar with a fridge and sink for any extra food or beverages you might have.

The property it’s only 2 minute drive away from Summerhill winery and cedar creek winery. Like to quad? Bring your quad and drive right up the street to go up the popular chute lake area for day rides. 12 minutes away from the new pandosy area as well as the popular gyro beach. You are 10 km away from downtown Kelowna and if you are a golfer you with love the many courses Kelowna has to offer. With the house being like a private oasis you may never want to leave! Perfect for families everyone has a ton of space to relax and to have fun.

Family vacation to Kelowna

Excellent property, just as advertised, clean and comfortable. We had four teenagers and the large pool and backyard was fantastic. Halley the host was wonderfull and was always available if needed. We had no problems however. We would highly recommend this property if staying in Kelowna.

Great Pool!!

Experience we great! Owners were responsive to questions and concerns. Overall had a great time! The pool was a huge highlight for adults and kids! Location is great to gyro beach and wineries! Downtown is also super accessible. Would definitely stay again.

Kelowna for Canada Day Weekend.

This property was well maintained and was perfect for our party of 8. The house was located far enough out of town that we didn't have to deal with the madness of the Canada Day traffic and was within 20 mins of all planned excursions. I'd gladly rent this house in the future for an upcoming vacation.

Great summer vacation!

We enjoyed the Mission location as we’ve always wanted to stay in this area of Kelowna. Away from the downtown hustle but close enough to still partake in the action with a short drive. Property is large and easily swallowed up our party of 5. Would easily be comfortable for more. The pool and fire pit area in the backyard was great. I think we spent more time there than actually inside the house. Owners are very nice and respectful of their guests. No issues to mention and we’re always a quick text away if needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. TBH - Wish I wasn’t working and could go back right now!

Amazing!!!! Perfect for a family vacation

We were in awe when we first arrived, house is beautiful and huge, the pool and yard were bigger than the photos. The hosts were amazing and great to communicate with. The place was well stocked and loads of space for us to hang around. We were 2 families with kids and they had a blast. The pool was temperature controlled which was nice for the cooler days that the kids could still enjoy.Beautiful wineries near by. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Spacious Home in Mission with Great Pool

We booked this home mainly for the pool, but the house and location were also a bonus. The size of the house was perfect for our 3 families, consisting of 6 adults and 3 kids. The yard is incredibly spacious with tons of room for outdoor activities. The house is conveniently located in mission and is a short drive into downtown and surrounding areas.

Perfect and fabulous house!!! Huge backyard, amazing pool (we enjoyed our morning laps), and spacious house. Dinner plans were cancelled because of the fires and smoke and we were able to have a cookout with our family. It was so great! Lovely weather too! We had an amazing adventurous weekend. A Perfect Stay in Kelowna

This large house is located just 20 minutes from downtown Kelowna, so it is very convenient to stores and restaurants. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. The owner was super nice and helpful at every step of the way. The house is gorgeous with two huge master suites and a large queen room , and a fourth small bedroom with bunkbeds for kids. There are four bathrooms , a huge private yard with multiple sitting areas and a glorious salt water pool. The best part is a gigantic kitchen where we stayed at the house and made some great dinners. There are multiple hanging out areas on the first floor and upstairs. We found it to be very spacious, peaceful and perfect.

Potential Potential

Very nice property and host with tons of potential. We have stayed in many VRBO's and this one missed in the finishing touches. Not enough bath & face towels for the length of stay. No face cloths and dish cloths. Simple things like no boxes of tissues anywhere or luggage stands in the bedrooms. The shower tiles are extremely slippery for both old and young. Beautiful kitchen but could use some repairs and up keep. Better plastic dishes and glasses for the outside pool deck. Beautiful pool and outside sitting area that everyone loved especially the grandkids, but the pool deck is extremely slippery. (I have owed a house with a pool and it is not the proper finish for the concrete). I agree with a previous review they need umbrella's around the pool, yes you have the sun shade and pergola but can't see the little ones when the shade is pulled down. The lawn/weed area is so bad it is hard to describe. It was virtually unusable and takes away from the vacation because the grandkids couldn't run and play.

Thank you for the review and we will take everything into consideration to make it better for the next! We apologize for the grass, something we’ve been working on! We did have dish towels available and face cloths for you (but will look into adding more face cloths) . :) We will look into more towels, but we did see an unused towel on the pull out bed so maybe that one was missed. We will look into an umbrella for the back yard as it does get quite sunny back there. We are also thinking of covering the pergola. And the deck can definitely be slippery when wet, we are hoping to refinish it next year but do have signs to make sure not to run on the deck in the mean time. Recent Stay

The pool is easily the highlight of this property. Warm and clean. The home size undoubtedly attracts larger families or bigger # of guests but the area around the pool lacked loungers and umbrellas to truly enjoy the space. Only two loungers. No umbrellas. The outdoor sitting space (living room and eating area were very comfortable. The grassy areas were not well maintained with weed-like prickles hard on the feet. The interior was extra large but each room offered only queen beds; the primary bedroom should have a king minimally. The kitchen was disorganized from a usefulness standpoint. So large that things were spread around and hard to find and disjointed. Eclectic may be best term the describe the utensils for sit down meals. Cleanliness could be better also. Lacked a deep clean with cobwebs and dust. Based on The fees for cleaning after a stay, this was disappointing. Hand towels and face clothes are not something guests pack and they were not readily available. Generally this is a good property. Home is big and fits large family as guests. I feel the owner could do more to eliminate some of concerns such as organize the kitchen, deeper clean, and make the pool area more welcoming for guests and this would be a terrific VRBO. Location is good - just south of Kelowna. Quiet peaceful. Lots of room to enjoy.

Hello Robert, we apologize that your stay wasn’t up to your expectations. To note, It does show that we only have queen beds when you do book. With the grass, it has been a very hot summer and a water limit so we do our best to maintain it, however yes there are a few patches that aren’t up to our standards as well. Instead of an umbrella, we have a pergola to offer shade and a little sun shade you can pull down. :) We apologize you felt the kitchen was disorganized, it is pretty big and sometimes coming into a new kitchen and not knowing where everything is it can feel overwhelming but something we will take into consideration and look at making it more organized where we can. Each bathroom comes with a towel for each person plus an extra one and a hand towel in each bathroom. Like mentioned during your stay. We did keep make up remover and cotton pads before covid and since your stay have brought back. Also, we apologize about the dust. Something we will mention to our cleaners. We do a walk through before each clean but will look closer at dust in the corners. We will take all your notes to make it better. We hope you have a great rest of your summer. Take care

Our 7 night stay with our family was wonderful. The home is exactly what you'd expect in a relaxing, comfortable, estate-like, family vacation. The pool was amazing and provided a nice complementary respite when we weren't at Gyro Beach which was only 10 minutes away. There is a Save-On Foods 5 minutes away, along with coffee shops, eateries, banking, cherry picking farm, and Summerhill Pyramid Winery which provides lovely wine tastings and beautiful sweeping views of Okanagan Lake. The manicured grass in the very spacious backyard felt lovely under our feet and the firepit and peaceful sitting area tucked in the corner was truly serene. The main bedrooms were amazing with large dual showers and huge sunken baths. If you enjoy big screen TVs in the living area and main bedrooms you will not be disappointed. There are two large fridges and dishwashers that made things very convenient, and the fireplace was absolutely charming and romantic. Our hosts, Hayley and Eddy, were so welcoming and extremely amenable to whatever question or need our family had. They were incredibly kind and accommodating, from the time we booked to even after the time we left. The only very very minor suggestion we have is perhaps to have a full-length mirror in the home. Overall, it was the best family vacation stay and we look forward to staying again in the future!

Gorgeous property amazing stay

The place was outstanding - super clean, big, comfortable, fully stocked kitchen and fantastic private pool that my family and friends enjoyed very much. The hosts were friendly and super responsive to our every question. Loved the area, it was our first time in this neighborhood, even though we come to Kelowna often. Bakery, restaurants, wineries, beach are all nearby. The only thing we wished for is the longer stay:). We all would love to come back!

Girls Family Trip Great House

Owners were AMAZING to deal deal with. House was very clean & great layout for our group. Warm clean pool …. The main floor master has a great walkout to patio & pool. Would highly recommend & will stay here again. It is a bit of a drive from airport … so rental car highly recommended if you fly in. Only thing is we are use to checking in a bit earlier than 4:00 … but homeowners were very accommodating & let us drop off our luggage , wine off early & even put our groceries away :) Thank you Haley for a grea vacay !!!!

Great Vacation

We had a great stay at the Upper Mission Estate. The house was lovely and clean and more than enough space for us, the two ensuite bathrooms as especially spacious. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The pool and backyard was the highlight. The water temperature was amazing all the time due to the fantastic cover. This is certainly on the list to visit again.
